Schneider fanned a career-best 12 batters enroute to his fifth victory on the mound for the Bobcats (30-3) and scattered just four hits over the nine innings and allowed two earned runs.

Frostburg took the lead in the third inning as senior Nick McElfish drove in junior Connor Cooper on a single to right field to give FSU a 1-0 lead. The Bobcats added a run in the top of the fifth to take a 2-0 lead. Senior Zach Weiss sent a single up the middle to bring home sophomore JT Tipton.

The Eagles got a run back in the bottom of the fifth to cut the lead to 2-1. With two outs, James Keller singled to left field to bring around Kyle Bynum. But the Bobcats quickly responded with three runs in the top of the sixth and two in the top of the seventh. With the bases loaded and no outs in the sixth, Cooper worked a walk to bring home Brady before Tipton sent a ball to center to bring around Keeler. McElfish capped the scoring in the inning with a sacrifice fly to left to bring home Farmer. In the seventh, senior Nick Walker doubled home Weiss before coming around to score thanks to a throwing error from the Eagles' short stop that allowed Farmer to reach.

Mary Washington (27-6) got one more run back in the bottom of the seventh, but that would be all the scoring in the game as Schneider cruised through the eighth and ninth innings, not allowing a base runner.

Weiss led the Bobcats at the plate with three hits while McElfish drove in a pair of runs. The Eagles' 2-6 batters were held hitless as they combined for 0-18 in the game.

With the win, Frostburg advances to the CAC Championship game tomorrow at 10:00 am while Mary Washington will face the winner of this afternoon's No. 2 Salisbury/No. 6 Christopher Newport game at 4:00 pm to advance to the championship.
