BETHANY, W.Va. – The Thiel College baseball team recorded a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) doubleheader sweep on the road over the Bethany Bison Saturday.
Kevin Forrester shut down the Bison offense as Thiel defeated Bethany 5-0 in the first game. Forrester threw a complete game four-hit shutout, striking out six along the way and facing only three more batters than the minimum to pick up his fifth win of the season.

The long ball powered Thiel in a 12-6 win over Bethany in the second game of the doubleheader. Mosley crushed a two-run home run over the center field fence in the third inning while Smith knocked a solo bomb in the fifth inning.
Trinch kept his hot bat from the first game, going 3-for-5 in the second game with two doubles and an RBI. Trinch also stole three bases. Brian Genco went 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs batted in.
Jaden Nozicka picked up his sixth win of the season after pitching five innings in the second game.
