The St. John Fisher College baseball won its 12th straight game on Sunday, as the Cardinals scored a season-high 24 runs in a 24-6 win over SUNY Canton.
With the win, Fisher improves to 20-6 overall and 8-0 in the Empire Conference.
Fisher scored at least one run in all but two of the nine innings. With the game tied at 1-1, Fisher scored the game's next 11 runs, including six in the second to take control.
Several Cardinals enjoyed strong performances at the plate. Senior Cody Wiktorski homered for the third time in the last two days and finished with two RBI.
Scott Eisenmenger finished with four hits and four RBI, while Malcolm Kelsey went 4-for-5 at the plate with four runs scored and three RBI.
Senior Mike Roman went 3-for-5 with two doubles. He also scored four runs and drove in three more.
Joe Simmons and Victor Konstantinovsky each chalked up three hits and scored three runs and combined for five RBI. Jack Trotman was 3-for-5 with three runs and three RBI,
while Evan Ryan was 2-for-5 with three runs scored and three RBI.
Chris Dugan singled in a run and scored twice, while Nate Roethel doubled and scored two runs.
Pitcher Stephen Lewis earned the win for Fisher, raising his record to 4-0 on the year. Dominick Pisciotto, TJ Polito and Caleb Lee each pitched a scoreless inning in relief.
Fisher will return to action on Wednesday at Houghton College.
