Baruch Rolls Past CCNY (11-1), Improve to 3-1 in CUNYAC

The Baruch College Bearcats posted an impressive CUNYAC conference win by scoring 11 runs to beat CCNY on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Salesian High School in New Rochelle, New York.

The Bearcats received a strong outing by starting pitcher
Cameron Kitt (7.0 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 5 K) to register his third win on the season.  Bogdan Leyton and Ryan Smith both pitched scoreless innings in relief to finish off the Beavers.    

With the score tied early, the Bearcats bats came alive totaling five runs in the third and four in the fourth to blow the game wide open.  CF
Luca Altamirano led the charge going 4-for-6 with three runs scored.

Jasdeep Buttar drove in three runs, while Donovan Hunt and Matthew Ballone each recorded two RBI.

The Bearcats will look to continue their winning ways on Thursday when they travel to the College of Mount Saint Vincent for a 4 p.m. non-conference contest.
