DUDLEY, Mass. – Junior Tim Ford (Stafford Springs, Conn.) went 3-for-4 with four RBI in Nichols College's 13-2 win over Anna Maria College Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action at the Nichols Baseball Field.

 

Sophomore Cam Cook (Phoenixville, Pa.) added three hits and three RBI as the Bison have won three of four. Junior Matt Hardy (North Reading, Mass.) picked up two RBI and sophomore Nick Osma (Babylon, N.Y.) had an RBI single.

 

Freshman Matt Elliot (Attleboro, Mass.) went 3-for-3 for the AMCats while junior Jonathan Roy (Worcester, Mass.) recorded two of the team's six hits.

 

The Bison scored five times in the first inning, highlighted by a three-run double by Ford, who later added an RBI double in the fifth. Cook's three-run double in the seventh extended the lead to 13-1.

 

Freshman Danny Hayden (North Kingstown, R.I.) worked six innings of three-hit ball to earn the win, his second of the season. He did not walk a batter and struck out a pair. Sophomore Camden Brown (Gardner, Mass.) was tagged for 11 hits and nine runs in five innings of work in defeat. He walked three and struck out one in falling to 2-3.
