KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Keuka College Baseball team lost to RIT by the score of 12-3 in a single game on Tuesday at Kuhl Field.
Keuka College (9-10, 2-0 NEAC) got a pair of hits from Dakota Skinner (Waverly, N.Y. / Tioga). Brooks Vertoske (Horseheads, N.Y. / Horseheads) had a two-run single for the Wolves and Tyler Krowiak (Endwell, N.Y. / Seton Catholic) drove in the other run for Keuka.

RIT built a 3-0 lead over the Wolves on Tuesday afternoon. Keuka College had a pair of runners on in each of the first three innings, but they were all stranded. Overall in the game, Keuka left 11 runners on base. The Wolves got two runs back in the bottom of the sixth as Brooks Vertoske hit a bases-loaded single to make it 3-2. The Wolves looked to tie the game with first and second, no outs, but the lead runner was called out on a bunt and a pair of strikeouts ended the threat. The Tigers reversed the momentum quickly in the seventh as they scored five to make it 8-2. Keuka got one back in the bottom of the seventh but RIT added four more in the eighth on their way to the 12-3 victory.
K'ed: As a team, Keuka College struck out at the plate 11 times against RIT pitching. It was the most strikeouts in a game for the Wolves since the 2013 season.

The Wolves travel to Buffalo to face D'Youville College tomorrow in a doubleheader. The Green and Gold will then be in Pennsylvania this weekend as they play against Penn St.-Berks and Penn St.-Abington.
