KING'S BASEBALL OUTSLUGGED BY MARYWOOD, 12-8

WILKES-BARRE -- The visiting Marywood University baseball team overcame a 5-2 early deficit by scoring 10 runs over the course of the fourth-through-seventh innings to post a 12-8 non-conference victory over host King's College Wednesday at Lipo Field.

With the win Marywood improved to 10-19 while King's slipped to 15-15.

Chris Rebar went 2-for-4 with a two-run triple and scored twice while Dan Hartson finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Kyle Lupas was 1-for-3 with two RBI while Sean Padden went 1-for-4 with a two-run double. Bruce Breithaupt was 1-for-4 with two RBI.

King's will travel to face FDU-Florham Friday in Madison, NJ before returning home Saturday  to host the Devils in a 1:00 PM doubleheader.
