Washington, Pa. – Keystone College advanced to the winner's bracket final of the NCAA Mideast Regional with a 10-3 victory over DePauw on Saturday morning at Washington & Jefferson College's Ross Memorial Field.  The sixth-seeded Giants, who scored seven runs in the top of the first inning against the Tigers, improve to 33-13 overall after winning their sixth straight regional tournament game dating back to last spring.

Keystone, who has now won at least two games at the NCAA Regional Tournament in five of the past six seasons including each of the past three seasons, will take on #4 seed Washington & Jefferson at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday night in the final winner's bracket game with a spot in the regional championship game on the line.

Keystone jumped all over DePauw in its first at-bats of the game on Saturday morning, sending 12 runners to the plate and scoring seven runs on eight hits and two errors.

Brendan Long (Naples, Fla./Barron Collier) drove in the game's first run with an RBI double before coming home on an Adam Kelly (Beach Lake, Pa./Honesdale) single.  Bray Curreri (Eldred, N.Y./Eldred Central) singled home a run with the Giants' fourth run also coming in on an error on the play before Ryan Callahan (Highland Mills, N.Y./Monroe-Woodbury) connected on a two-run base hit to right field.  Anthony Ferrezza (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip), who scored the first run of the contest, brought home Tony Hunter II (Savannah, Ga./South Effingham) with an RBI groundout to give Keystone a 7-0 advantage.

DePauw looked to chip away at the Giants' lead in their first trip to the plate, loading the bases with nobody out, but Keystone starter Troy Terzi (Wallingford, Conn./Notre Dame ) worked out of the jam to keep Keystone's lead at seven runs.

The Tigers got on the board on a sacrifice fly from Mike Hammel in the bottom of the third inning to make it a 7-1 game, but the Giants got the run back in the visitor's fifth when Curreri came home on a fielding error in the DePauw's outfield on a ball hit by Hunter.

Tate Stewart singled home a run for DePauw in the home fifth to cut Keystone's lead to 8-2, but the Giants answered back with a pair of runs in the top of the eighth inning to claim a 10-2 advantage.

Kelly launched a solo home run – his fourth of the season – over the fence in left center before Hunter hit an RBI single through the left side to give Keystone an eight-run cushion.

DePauw closed out the scoring on an RBI triple from Jack Thompson with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Terzi improve to 9-0 on the season after going 8.2 strong innings, striking out 11 batters while yielding three runs on 11 hits.  Dylan Leahy (Montgomery, N.Y./Valley Central) recorded the final out of the ballgame via a groundout.

Kelly went 4-5 with two RBI and a pair of runs scored, Austin Chaszar (Bordentown, N.J./Bordentown Regional) had four hits, and Curreri added three hits and scored a game-high three runs for Keystone, who held an 18-11 advantage in hits for the game.  Callahan also drove in a pair of runs in the victory.

Hammel started on the mound for DePauw and was charged with the loss after being touched up for seven runs on eight hits while picking up just one out before a trio of relievers closed out the game on the hill for the Tigers.

Ryan Grippo paced DePauw with four hits in the loss.

Seventh-seeded DePauw (32-12) will face  top-seeded The College of Wooster in an elimination game on at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
