Baruch Defeats Mount Saint Mary (9-4) for Second Straight Win

The Baruch College Bearcats took the early lead, fell behind by a run, and finished by scoring the last six runs to record a 9-4 road win against the Blue Knights from Mount Saint Mary College on Saturday afternoon at Dutchess Stadium in Wappingers Falls, New York.

Liam O'Gara batted 3-5 with three runs scored, while Gerardo Roque and and Edwin St. Hilaire each scored two runs and two RBI to help the Bearcats to their second straight win.

St. Hilaire had the winning hit in the seventh inning with an RBI single to plate Roque for a 5-4 lead they would not relinquish. St. Hilaire added another RBI single as part of a four-run ninth inning that put the game away.

Matthew Lawlor earned the win in long relief (4 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 3 K).
