LANGHORNE, PA. -- R.J. Boyle scattered seven hits with one unearned run over seven-plus innings and Bobby Heckhit a three-run home run to key Gwynedd Mercy's 4-1 CSAC win at Cairn on Thursday to take the two-game set.

Boyle struck out five and walked just two to improve his record to 4-1 on the year. After an unearned run in the second, the Griffins (15-11, 9-3 CSAC), who also won their seventh-straight game, answered with four runs in the fourth highlighted by Heck's first homer of the season.

Mike Di Ianni came in the game with two outs in the eighth and a runner on, but he nailed down the final four outs of the game to notch his first career save. Boyle and Di Ianni did not allow a runner past second base after Cairn (16-12, 5-5 CSAC) scored their lone run in the second.

Heck finished 2-for-4 with a stolen base. Evan Miller added the other RBI in that fourth inning, scoring Shaughn Wright. Wright, along with Dave Tatoian, each had two hits.

Gwynedd Mercy is off until Monday when they head to Keystone to continue CSAC play starting at 3 p.m.
