WORCESTER, Mass.—Senior Bray Curreri (Eldred, N.Y./Eldred Central) continued his late-season heroics Thursday evening, leading Keystone College to a 3-2 victory over Mitchell College in the NCAA Harwich, Massachusetts regional at Granger Stadium.

Curreri, who was named the most valuable player (MVP) of last weekend's Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) tournament, delivered a two-out single in the bottom of the 11th inning to score junior Ronald Medina (Bronx, NY/Dewitt Clinton) with the winning run as the Giants went on to post a 3-2 victory.

Keystone, now 33-10, will now play the winner of Oswego St. (26-12)/Suffolk (25-17) Friday evening, while Mitchell, now 30-9, plays the loser.

The Giants took an early 2-0 lead on a solo home run by senior Eric Drzewiecki (Hellertown, Pa./Phillipsburg) in the third inning and a run-scoring single by junior Chris Panzarella (Hazle Township, Pa./Hazleton Area) in the fourth.

Keystone finished with seven hits, including two by sophomore Adam Kelly (Beach Lake, Pa./Honesdale), who singled in the 11th inning to advance Medina to second base after Medina drew a walk and eventually moved over to third base on a fly ball to center field by Panzarella.  Curreri then delivered the game-winning hit by pushing a ball through the right side of the Mitchell defense.

The Mariners took advantage of a throwing error and a passed ball to score two unearned runs in the seventh inning to tie the game.  Overall, they belted 11 hits, including three by junior Eric Marriott and two apiece from junior Steven Pagan and senior Garet Griffin.

Senior Troy Terzi (Wallingford, Conn./Notre Dame) got the start for Keystone and scattered nine hits over nine innings, struck out five, and did not allow an earned run before giving way to senior Tyler Widitz (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg), who allowed only two hits and struck out two in two innings to pick up the win.  Widitz is now 2-2 on the season.
