Wartburg Falls 8-3 to Gwynedd Mercy, Ryan Keen Collects 100th Hit

In the nightcap, Brian Wildrick earned the win working seven and third innings as the junior allowed just one earned run while striking out a pair.

Keen notched a pair of hits, including his 100th and 101st of his career.

Sciarretta and Jason Mulvey, along with Keen, all collected two hits.

Keen would give the Griffins a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the first scoring two runners with a single. Tied 2-2 in the seventh Gwynedd opened the offense again scoring five runs in the frame.  Dave Tatoian scored Josh Lopez to start the rally followed by a Sciarretta single to bring home Cameron CulverNick Mulvey would follow with a one-out RBI single. Miller would then cap the inning with a big two-out two-run single for the 7-2 lead.

Liam Sullivan worked the ninth in relief for the Griffins fourth win in a row.

Gwynedd returns back to action on Saturday when they travel to St. Mary's College of Maryland for a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
