MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Sewanee baseball team saw themselves down 5-0 after one inning of play and were unable to recover, as the Berry Vikings defeated the visitors, 12-2, Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Vikings saw themselves up 5-0 after one inning of play and 9-0 after four.
-In the fifth, Josh Roberts put the Tigers on the board with a two-run double, scoring Garrett Liebe and Max Murray.
-However, the Vikings pushed it to a run-rule victory with three runs in the seventh.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Josh Roberts recorded a double and two RBI in the contest.
-Andrew Naspinski (1-1) suffered the loss, tossing the first inning. He allowed five runs, four earned, on five hits.
BERRY KEY STATISTICS
-Derrick Newman posted a 4-for-4 day at the plate with two doubles and two driven in.
-Ben Coker (1-0) went the distance in the run-rule victory, allowing two earned runs on five hits.
