LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University baseball team officially opened the home portion of the schedule with a pair of shutouts over visiting Lakeland University on Monday.

GAME ONE DETAILS
Alexander Schram lowered his conference best ERA by spinning seven blank frames
Schram set the tone in the first inning by striking out two of the three batters
Lakeland did not record a hit until the fourth inning as the sophomore retired the first 11 batters of the contest
