SEWANEE, Tenn. - A six-run fourth inning by the Dominican Stars was the deciding factor in Sunday's series finale from Montgomery Field, as the Sewanee baseball team fell 8-4 to the Stars.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee got out to an early 2-0 lead after an inning of play. After a Jake Woolard triple, Ben Harper followed with a deep sacrifice fly to score the first run of the game.
-After Chris McNulty reached base on a hit, Jack Galanek followed with a base knock to left field to add to the lead, 2-0.
-In the third, McNulty launched his fourth homer of the 2020 season to push the lead to 3-0.
-The Stars rallied in the fourth inning, as the visitors scored six runs on just three hits to claim the lead, 6-3, after three and a half innings.
-Sewanee added an RBI single by Woolard to make it 6-4, but that would be as close as the home team would get. The Stars added two sacrifice flies in the sixth and ninth to put the contest away.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Tyler Dunbar had a perfect 3-for-3 day at the plate with two doubles and a run scored.
-Chris McNulty laced two singles and a homer and scored twice, while Jake Woolard had a triple.
-Logan Martin (0-1) fanned six batters and allowed three earned runs in 3.2 innings on the mound.
DOMINICAN KEY STATISTICS
-Tyler Trojan posted four RBI, while Frankie Sessa posted a two-hit day.

Sewanee will next open Southern Athletic Association (SAA) play with a three-game series with Centre, beginning on Saturday with a noon doubleheader from Montgomery Field.
