The Cardinals got on the board early with runs in the first and second, but starting pitcher K.C. Howe settled into the game. The graduate student pitched into the sixth inning. He allowed five runs, three earned, and struck out five batters in 5.2 innings of work.

The Keuka offense took advantage of some walks to apply pressure early, but nothing ever materialized. They would load the bases in the sixth trailing 5-0 on singles by Tyler Broderick, Nick Kocjan, and Maxwell Yale, but were never able to push a run across the plate.

Conversely, the St. John Fisher offense broke through against the bullpen, plating 12 in the seventh inning on their way to the 17-0 victory.
