SCHAUMBURG , IL - The Benedictine University baseball team recorded a pair of shutouts of Dominican on Sunday to kick off a four-game set, running their win streak to five games.

THE DETAILS - GM 1
• Jack Feeley tripled hom the first run in the opener, plating Kyle Mitter in the top of the second
• Nic Presutti scored on a wild pitch to make the score 2-0 in the third
• Benedictine broke the game open with a five-spot in the fourth
• Feeley drove home a run by reaching on an error and Jack Surin responded with a two-run triple
• Damen Castillo lifted a sacrifice fly and Cameron Falk doubled home a run to make the score 7-0
• Castillo added an RBI single in the fifth to make the lead 8-0
• Benedictine brought an early end to the game with four runs in the top of the seventh
• Feeley plated two with a single while Castillo doubled home a run and Anthony Baturin knocked in another run with a fielder's choice
STAT LEADERS - GM 1
• Stephen Sewruk allowed just three hits while striking out 11 in the complete game shutout
• The bats recorded 14 hits led by three from Feeley, who drove home four
• Surin, Castillo, Presutti and Falk all notched two hits as well as Mitter
• The top three hitters in the lineup combined for seven hits, five runs and nine RBIs
THE DETAILS - GM 2
• Taking on an expanded role, Ryan Renken picked up where Sewruk left off on the mound in the second contest
• Benedictine set the tone early with a pair of runs in the first and second innings
• Castillo singled home Feeley in the first and Presutti added a sacrifice fly
• Mitter doubled hom a run in the second and Castillo added another RBI with a fielder's choice
• Single runs in the seventh and eighth accounted for the final on an RBI single from Surin and a groundout from Feeley
STAT LEADERS - GM 2
• Renken allowed just two hits in 7.1 shutout innings, walking two and striking out six
• Ryan Litavecz finished the game with 1.2 scoreless frames
• Kevin Bushnell, Brenden Norberg and Mitter posted two hits each in the second contest
