LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University baseball team recorded the 25th win of the season by besting Concordia Wisconsin in a non-conference game.

THE DETAILS
Concordia Wisconsin scored a pair of runs in the top of the first but did not lead the rest of the contest
Benedictine took the lead with five runs in the bottom of the second
Nic Presutti opened the inning by drawing a walk, Logan Shepard reached on an error and Alex Cameron was hit by a pitch to load the bases
Jack Carlson lifted a sacrifice fly to score the first run before a bunt single from Kyle Mitter again loaded the bases
Ryan Doubek singled home a pair and Jack Surin also knocked home two with a single
Damen Castillo singled home Ryan Doubek in the fourth to make the score 6-2
Benedictine broke the game open with six runs in the fifth
Carlson lifted a sacrifice fly, Surin doubled home a pair and Castillo added another RBI single
Kevin Bushnell followed by connecting on his 14th homer of the season to take over sole possession of second place on the single season list, a line drive two-run homer over the wall in left to cap the scoring

Frank Greco started an earned the win in a declared start, working two innings
Dan Dombrowski threw the final five innings to collect the save
Both teams gave plenty of opportunities for players to see the field
