ASHLAND, Va. – Junior Hunter Cole (Norfolk, Va./Granby) had three hits and four runs while Junior Myles Webb (Norfolk, Va./Granby) added three runs and four RBI as the Randolph-Macon baseball team completed a three-game sweep of Pitt-Bradford with a 12-2 win on Sunday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Yellow Jackets took early control with five runs in the bottom of the first. Senior Ethan Iannuzzi (Chesterfield, Va./Cosby), Cole and Webb all drew one-out walks before sophomore Lincoln Lubsen (Williamsburg, Va./Walsingham Academy) delivered a two-run single to plate Iannuzzi and Cole. Senior Carter Johnson (Southampton, Va./Southampton) had a bunt single and Webb scored when the throw to first was wild to make it 3-0. Sophomore Aaron Lautenschlager (Purcellville, Va./Loudoun Valley) added a two-run base hit to push the lead to 5-0.
- R-MC added a run in the second as Cole dropped in a leadoff double and came home on a sacrifice fly by Johnson to make it 6-0.
- The Panthers plated a run in the third before the Yellow Jackets answered in the fourth. Cole ripped a double to right and scored on a base hit by Webb. Webb would steal second, go to third on a wild pitch and come home on a sacrifice fly by Lubsen as R-MC took an 8-1 advantage.
- Senior Cam Furman (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) allowed three hits and one run in 5.0 innings with one walk and four strikeouts to record the victory.
- UPB got a second run in the sixth before the Yellow Jackets got it back in the seventh. Senior Logan Smith (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) had a leadoff walk, went to third on a double by Johnson and scored on a sacrifice fly by junior Matt Myers (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) to make it 9-2.
- Webb added a three-run homer in the eighth, his first of the season, to make the final 12-2.

- Cole went 3 for 4 with two doubles, a walk and four runs.
- Webb went 2 for 4 with one walk, three runs and four RBI. He had multiple hits in each of the three games of the series.

- Freshman Eli Brooks (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) had a pinch-hit single in the eighth in his first collegiate at-bat.
