  • After a flyout and a double steal, Kell scored on a balk and Patrick Campbell lashed an RBI single to right center to make it 4-1.
  • In the top of the fourth, the Shoremen got men on the corners with one out on a single and an error. After a strikeout, Philiposian stole second and Kenyon Mickie scored when the throw skipped into the outfield, bringing Washington back within 4-2.

Kavi Caster was plunked to lead off, then Sheeler sliced an RBI double into the right field corner and Rice followed with a run-scoring bloop double of his own. Three batters later Scott Cameron snuck a base hit through the right side, scoring Rice to make it 7-2.
  • The Sea Gulls busted it open in the home sixth. Luke Weddell scored on a wild pitch, then later with two on and two out, Geesaman belted a three-run homer through the wind in left field, putting SU ahead 11-2.
  • Washington clawed one back in the top of the seventh on a SanFilippo RBI single that made it 11-3.
