GREENSBORO, N.C. – Junior Matt Myers (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) reached base 12 times in 14 plate appearances, including eight times in the opener, as the 13th-ranked Randolph-Macon baseball team swept an ODAC doubleheader at Guilford on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened: Game 1
- Myers started the game with a walk and went to third on a base hit by senior Ethan Iannuzzi (Chesterfield, Va./Cosby). Myers scored on a single by junior Myles Webb (Norfolk, Va./Granby) and Iannuzzi came home on a fielder's choice by senior Hunter Cole (Norfolk, Va./Granby) as the Yellow Jackets led 2-0.
- The Quakers plated five in the bottom of the first before RMC responded in the second. Myers had a two-run single, Webb added an RBI triple and Cole belted a two-run homer as the visitors went up 7-5.
- GC pulled within one in the bottom of the second before the Yellow Jackets put up another crooked number in the third. Senior Carter Johnson (Southampton, Va./Southampton) singled and scored on a wild pitch, and Iannuzzi smacked a three-run homer to push the lead to 11-6.
- The Quakers added two in the third before RMC matched that in the fourth. Sophomore Chaz Harvey (Charlottesville, Va./The Miller School) scored on a balk and Johnson came home on a passed ball as the Yellow Jackets led 13-8.
- In the sixth, Myers had an RBI double, Iannuzzi delivered an RBI single, Cole knocked in a run by reaching on an error, and sophomore Aaron Lautenschlager (Purcellville, Va./Loudoun Valley) capped the rally with a two-run double to make it a 10-run game at 18-8.
- GC got one in the sixth before senior Logan Smith (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) had an RBI single and scored on a wild pitch, and Iannuzzi delivered a run-scoring single to make it 21-9.
- RMC put up eight in the eighth, highlighted by a two-run double by Myers, a two-run double by Cole and a two-run homer by freshman Carter Schmitt (Glen Allen, Va./St. Christopher's), his first collegiate dinger, making it 29-9.
- The Quakers also plated eight in the eighth to make the final 29-17.

- The game set a record for RMC for combined runs in a game at 46. The previous record was 45, set on April 4, 2004, against Lynchburg.
- The Yellow Jackets had season highs with 29 runs, 19 hits, 14 walks and 23 RBI.

How It Happened: Game 2
- RMC took control in the first inning of the nightcap. Myers had a leadoff single and went to second when Webb was hit by a pitch. Myers scored on a single by Cole, and Webb came home on a base hit by Schmitt to give the Yellow Jackets a 2-0 lead. Harvey delivered a bases-clearing double and Myers capped the rally with a two-run double to make it 7-0.
- Harvey had a solo homer in the third, while Iannuzzi and Webb added RBI doubles later in the frame as RMC took a 10-0 advantage.
- Harvey singled and scored on a wild pitch in the fifth to extend the lead to 11-0. GC got one run in the fifth and two in the eighth to make the final 11-3.
