Snelsire struck out the final two hitters to secure the victory and raise his record to 7-1.
- The Yellow Jackets plated their first run in the third. Senior Hunter Cole (Norfolk, Va./Granby) had a one-out double down the left field line and scored on a single to center by junior Matt Myers (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) to give the home team a 1-0 lead.
- RMC added to its lead in the sixth. Senior Ethan Iannuzzi (Chesterfield, Va./Cosby) doubled off the top of the fence in left to start the inning. Freshman Carter Schmitt (Glen Allen, Va./St. Christopher's) sacrificed Iannuzzi to third. After sophomore Aaron Lautenschlager (Purcellville, Va./Loudon Valley) was hit by a pitch, senior Carter Johnson (Southampton, Va./Southampton) laid down a bunt single to the right side of the infield to drive in Iannuzzi and make it 2-0.
