Allegheny produced another three run inning in the eighth. Alejandro Samayoa (Katonah, N.Y./John Jay Cross River) would score the first run of the frame on an error before Bryant-Dawson drove in Chodkowski for the second run of the inning. A bases loaded walk drawn by Andrew Stablewski (Buffalo, N.Y./St. Joseph's Collegiate Academy) brought Dougherty home for the third run.

Deasy started the game for the Gators, striking out four in 4.1 innings of work. Lohr earned the win in relief of Deasy, going 0.2 innings without letting up a hit. Morgan earned a four inning save, striking out four while only allowing one hit and two walks.
