Piedmont opened with an impressive victory, Louisiana College took 3 of 4 from Alma and Austin split with Ozarks in the opening weekend action.

February 16, 2018 Austin opens with win, W&L, TLU stay undefeated with week day wins Austin opened their season with a 6-4 win of Dallas Christian. Earlier in the week, Washington and Lee improved to 3-0 and Texas Lutheran started the spring 7-0.
