Scherer elevated to head of Cal Lutheran program
September 14, 2023Cal Lutheran found the ideal head coach candidate in its own dugout. Long-time assistant coach Erik Scherer has been promoted to head coach of the Kingsmen program. Scherer played a critical role in the program's 2017 National Championship and its consistent success.

Cal Lu's Slimak announces retirement
July 06, 2023Marty Slimak has announced his retirement the Kingsmen program. After serving as an assistant for four seasons, Slimak was chosen as the tenth Head Baseball Coach at Cal Lutheran in the summer of 1993.
