Several offenses were smokin' on Saturday. Chatham and MUW both scored 36 runs whil Misericordia scored 37. Penn State Behrend had the most runs in a game (24) as they scored 33 on the day. Rutgers-Newark and Montclair State both scored 30+ as they split their doubleheader. Six other teams with 30 + runs scored.

For the second day in a row, the Wheaton (Mass.) Lyons got double digit runs to roll to a win, On Friday, it was Illinois Wesleyan who was their victim. In a Top 10 showdown, it was Denison who finished ahead of Baldwin Wallace.
No. 10 Denison not only won 10-9 in a walk-off over the No. 11-ranked UW-Stevens Point and 11-6 over the tournament hosts from Spalding in Sunday, but the two wins also allowed the Big Red the celebrate Mike Deegan's 300th career win as the head coach at Denison.

No. 19 Marietta needed a statement win and with a 10-run fifth earned a win over No. 13 Denison. Elsewhere in Ohio, Otterbein hammered Oberlin and turned a triple play to go along with good pitching.
Less than a dozen games were played today but no win was bigger than Case Western's win over No. 13 Denison. The rest of the UAA teams were finishing up four games series with New York University and Emory getting wins.
Denison came out on top of Arcadia in a marathon game that ended 24 hours after it started. Twenty-eight extra base hits fueled the 25-23 final that reached 10 innings before it was finished in a mere 5.5 hours.

Region 7 showed its strength in 2022, as Marietta and Baldwin Wallace both won super regionals and competed in Cedar Rapids. Wooster and Denison showed every capability of doing the same.

In a rematch of the last two NCAC Tournament Championship series, Denison captured the 2022 NCAC Tournament crown. After the College of Wooster took game one on Sunday by a score of 5-4, the Big Red followed with an 8-1 victory over the Fighting Scots.

Denison managed a win on a chilly Saturday that cancelled the second game of a scheduled doubleheader. Former top teams, Salisbury and Cortland won easily but current number one Marietta managed an OAC split.

Denison captured the 2021 North Coast Athletic Conference Championship on Friday following a 10-5 victory over the College of Wooster. With the win, Denison receives the NCAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Regionals next week.
A full Sunday schedule was decimated with rain and unplayable conditions. A few teams got out with Washington University getting a statement win over North Central and Denison turning the tables and sweeping Wooster to even their four game series.
No. 23 Wooster needed some last minute offense to take game one but none of that was needed in a lopsided game two win over No. 25 Denison. Elsewhere, Johns Hopkins and Kean continued to find wins scarce in their respective conferences.

For the first time in 942 career games, Muskingum coach Gavin Thompson looked at the pregame lineup card and saw a relative in the opposing lineup. That was the scene in the Muskies' one and only home game of the 2020 season.
Denison's miraculous season continued on Saturday following a 7-5 victory over 15th-ranked Wooster to secure the first NCAC Tournament championship in program history. With the win, the Big Red earns an automatic bid into the 2019 NCAA Playoffs.
