June 9, 2025 Woitas replaces Baker at Gustavus Andrew Woitas, associate head coach of Gustavus for the last two seasons and primary assistant for the five years prior, was named the Gusties' head baseball coach on Monday. Woitas replaces Brad Baker who retired following 11 seasons with a 246-136 (.664) record.
April 4, 2024 UW-La Crosse extends win string on Thursday UW-La Crosse won their fourth straight game with a sweep of Gustavus. In Virginia, two ranked teams in the ODAC received losses as W&L and RMC got key conference wins. The news continues to be the weather that saw half the scheduled games postponed or cancelled
February 26, 2024 Minnesota teams part of Monday slate St. John's (Minn.) and Gustavus took two and St. Scholastica also got a win on Monday as baseball games got underway in Minnesota. Most of the day's action was in Florida as teams get their spring road trip in early.
February 9, 2024 Region 9 Preview: Midwest The best teams in Region 9 comes from Wisconsin. UW-La Crosse looks as strong as does UW-Stevens Point. UW-Whitewater will be a factor as well. Add Bethel, Gustavus and Buena Vista and you have a region that competes with any other.
May 7, 2023 Gustavus secures MIAC regular season title Gustavus was dealt a rare home loss but with a split with St. Olaf, earned the top seed in the upcoming MIAC tournament. Johns Hopkins, Jonhston & Wales, Mitchell, and Trinity (Texas) all clinched playoff bids on Sunday.
May 5, 2021 Reinhardt, Lombard, Hillard honored An eight-home run week, a nine-inning no-hitter, and a seven-homer, 15-RBI week caught the eyes of the selection committee and warranted the week 10 NCBWA Div. III Hitter, Pitcher, and Rookie of the Week awards, respectively. This week’s selections were chosen based on performances for games played April 26 through May 2.
