May 11, 2025 Leopards crowned SCIAC tournament champions In a game worthy of a championship finale, the University of La Verne baseball team rallied past Pomona-Pitzer for a dramatic 9-7 victory on Sunday afternoon at Ben Hines Field to claim the 2025 SCIAC Tournament Championship—its first since 2015.
April 12, 2025 Trinity sweep keeps Tigers at the top of SCAC Trinity (Texas) swept the day on Saturday and maintained their hold on the top spot of the SCAC standings. Ranked contests, UW-La Crosse vs. UW-Whitewater, Cal Lu vs La Verne and Case Western vs. Chicago ended in split doubleheaders.
April 4, 2025 600 wins and counting: Winterburn hits mark as La Verne cruises No. 5 La Verne delivered a dominant offensive performance on Friday afternoon, defeating Caltech 16-3 at Ben Hines Field to open their SCIAC series in style and in the process, head coach Scott Winterburn notched his historic 600th career win.

March 7, 2025 La Verne the better team in Top 10 contest No. 10 La Verne welcomed No. 9 UW-La Cross to their campus field and dealt the Eagles a 9-1 loss to highlight the action on Friday. The hitting star for the day was Eastern's Del Buono who was the third player to hit for the cycle this DIII season.
February 3, 2025 Region 10 Preview In 2023, semifinalist East Texas Baptist made the deepest run into the national tourney from the Region since Chapman won it all in 2019. No. 5 ETBU has the inside track for a repeat World Series appearance but a trio from the SCIAC, the top of the SCAC and NWC will have something to say about that.
