February 3, 2024 Texas Lutheran opens DIII season with sweep Three games in and three wins for Texas Lutheran. On Friday the TLU Bulldogs won the opening game of the D-III Season 8-1 over visiting Sul Ross State, followed that up with a 12-3 win on Saturday night and a run-ruled win for the sweep. Caltech and Occidental earned early wins on Saturday with Caltech dropping the nightcap and Occidental sweeping the day.
February 25, 2023 Baldwin Wallace wins Top 25 contest on Saturday No. 10 Baldwin Wallace stayed perfect on the year with a win over No. 17 Oswego State. USMMA head coach Michael Notebaert got his 250th career-win when Maritime swept Wells. in Texas, No. 24 ETBU secured a series sweep of Sul Ross on a high note, turning a triple play.
February 4, 2023 Teams split in Texas on opening weekend Dallas and Sul Ross State split and Texas Lutheran won one of two with Pacific as the first teams from Texas to got on the field for the 2023 season. Twenty games were played on Saturday, up from the six played on opening day.
October 5, 2022 Gallego is top dog for Lobos School officials announced that Ely Gallego was named the head baseball coach at Sul Ross State. Gallego spent the previous four seasons as a full-time assistant under former head coach Bobby Mesker, who is now the head baseball coach at Midland Christian after 14 years at the helm of the Lobos.

February 25, 2022 Mesker picks up win 200 in Sul Ross Sweep A cold night in Alpine did not chill a hot offense for baseball in a Friday sweep of LeTourneau. With the wins, head coach Bobby Mesker picked up wins 200 and 201 in his Sul Ross career.
