May 5, 2025 Allegheny sweeps to top seed in PAC Allegheny swept Geneva, 4-1 and 6-5, and earned the third seed in the upcoming PAC tournament. Thiel and Waynesburg also had a scheduled PAC doubleheader and managed just a 12-0 Thiel win before the second game was postponed.
March 31, 2022 Schaly nets 600th win Thiel College baseball head coach Joe Schaly earned his 600th career win on Thursday, as the Tomcats defeated the Geneva Golden Tornadoes, 11-8, in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game.
August 23, 2019 Swiney hired at Mary Washington Mary Washington has named Kelly Swiney as its new head coach, as announced by school officials. Swiney had been the head coach at Westminster (Pa.) for two seasons after coaching at his alma mater, Allegheny, for nine seasons.
April 18, 2018 Westminster, Thiel get Wednesday split Westminster and Thiel traded 7-6 victories as they join Thomas More and Geneva with just four PAC losses. They trail Washington and Jefferson with an 11-1 conference record.
March 5, 2018 Eagles deal regional foe loss UW-La Crosse made the trip to Minneapolis a success as they opened their season with a win over nationally ranked St. Thomas. on their spring break trips, Thiel, Emerson, and Martin Luther notched their first wins of the season.
July 17, 2017 Swiney moves from Allegheny to Westminster Westminster College has named Kelly Swiney as its new head baseball coach. Swiney had been the head baseball coach at Allegheny College for the past nine seasons.
