August 29, 2024 Impellittiere takes over at Waynesburg Waynesburg school officials announced the hiring of Michael Impellittiere as head coach of the Waynesburg. Impellittiere spent the last seven seasons as the head coach of Hood where he is the Blazers' winningest coach in program history with a 129-112-1 record.

Elsewhere it was Wilson and Waynesburg splitting in a chilly Pennsylvania field. Williams also earned a W in their first nine inning contest of the season.
July 13, 2021 Miller to Long, Six players are tabbed in the annual MLB draft Former Waynesburg pitcher Mason Miller and Bradford Webb, a graduate of Hampden-Sydney were drafted on day two of the MLB Amateur Draft. The third and final day saw four more D-III players hear their name called.
