August 29, 2024 Impellittiere takes over at Waynesburg Waynesburg school officials announced the hiring of Michael Impellittiere as head coach of the Waynesburg. Impellittiere spent the last seven seasons as the head coach of Hood where he is the Blazers' winningest coach in program history with a 129-112-1 record.

July 13, 2021 Miller to Long, Six players are tabbed in the annual MLB draft Former Waynesburg pitcher Mason Miller and Bradford Webb, a graduate of Hampden-Sydney were drafted on day two of the MLB Amateur Draft. The third and final day saw four more D-III players hear their name called.
June 22, 2021 Cunningham promoted at Waynesburg After 16 years as head coach, Mike Humiston will step away from the dugout. Long-time assistant coach and director of baseball strength and conditioning Perry Cunningham has been promoted to the top spot on the bench after 14 years with the program.
