    Lehman and Yeshiva entered the day without a win this year, or last year. In a match on Tuesday, they met on the diamond. Lehman won first with a 7-6 win, then Yeshiva ended a 100 game losing streak with a 9-6 victory in the nighcap.

  • St. Joseph's (Conn.) gets program's first win in split

    St. Joseph's (Conn.) split with Keene State and earned the program's first victory in the process. Elsewhere it was big numbers for the offenses as Kalamazoo posted a 28 run total and three other teams posted 24 runs in one game. Utica was one of those teams who added 16 in another for a 40 run day in a doubleheader sweep of Yeshiva.

The Macs (0-6) were tied with the Pioneers (2-1) entering the final inning of game one, but Utica scored five runs in the top half of the seventh to pull away and earn the victory.

    The Yeshiva University baseball team split its season-opening doubleheader with John Jay, at Baseball Heaven, on Tuesday evening. After falling in the first game, 16-0, Yeshiva rallied from a three-run deficit to earn the victory in the second contest, 4-3, to knock off last year's runner-up in the CUNYAC championships.
