In a game circled on most NACC fans calendar, No. 12 Benedictine swept a pair from No. 10 Aurora. Benedictine remains one of four teams in the NACC with a perfect conference record and now holds the tiebreaker over Aurora.
No. 15 Aurora is the only ranked team in the preseason rankings but not the only team that is expected to compete and win at their level. You don't need to get out of the NACC to see that Benedictine is more experienced in 2024 and will challenge the Spartans not only for top conference team honors but on the national stage as well.
Aurora claimed the first spot in next week's super-regional round on Saturday with 13 more regional champions joined them on Sunday. There are two more regional titles to be earned and they will be won on Monday
The Mitchell Regional was washed out with others having delays. Top ranked Johns Hopkins is just one win away from a super-regional spot as is Salisbury. No Sunday game for Aurora as they swept John Carroll three games to none to advance to the next round.

It was a historical afternoon at the 2023 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament for Aurora. With a 6-1 victory over Benedictine, the Spartans advance to the 2023 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship field for the 25th time in program history.

Aurora traveled to Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon for the 2021 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament Championship Series. A site that is no stranger to recent AU championship celebrations was once again a willing host as the Spartans defeated the Falcons 13-5 behind a solid start from Skyler Yamamoto and big scoring innings aided by a pair of two-run home runs from Jett Wedekind and Nick Baldassano
After their NEWMAC series was delayed a week, nothing was settled as two of the top teams in the New England region split a pair of games. Elsewhere, Marietta and Aurora were upset as undefeated Washington & Jefferson continues to win.
Washington made it four wins in their last six games over Top 10 competition entering the weekend with a 14-0 record with a 3-2 and 6-2 sweep of No. 5 Aurora.

The final day of No. 21 Aurora's spring trip saw a dominant pitching performance by Skyler Yamamoto and timely late inning hitting to win 5-0 over 15th ranked Webster. The ninth win of the season for AU marked the 400th career win for Head Coach Adam Stevens.

It took an extra day of #NACCtion but for the second consecutive year, the Aurora University baseball team prevailed and are Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament Champions on Mother's Day. In a winner take all NACC Tournament Championship against #1 Concordia University Chicago, the Spartans jumped all over the Cougars in the first inning and got a tremendous effort from freshman pitcher Nick "Money" Malmberg who tossed seven strong innings. AU would go on to claim their second straight NACC Baseball Tournament title with a 5-2 victory.
The Aurora University baseball team once again defeated the top seed and No. 1 ranked Cougars of Concordia University Chicago in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament. This time the Spartans knocked off the Cougars 6-2 to advance in the tournament as the last remaining unbeaten team.
The two additional teams in the NCAA Tournament, expanding the field from 56 to 58 teams, land here, turning the Central Regional from a six-team regional to an eight-team regional. Whether that means a team will be more tested, or just less rested, remains to be seen.

The Aurora Athletic Department announced today the hiring of Adam Stevens as the next head coach of the Spartan baseball program. Stevens comes to Aurora from Central (Iowa).
