Moravian defeated nationally-ranked No. 8 Adrian, 15-8, Tuesday afternoon. The Greyhounds jumped out to a 13-0 lead through the top half of the sixth. The Bulldogs fought back and scored eight runs in the sixth and seventh inning, but it wasn't enough. Anthony Zaloga went 6.1 innings to earn his first collegiate victory while striking out five and allowing five earned runs. Cameron Leon led the way with three hits and three RBIs for Moravian.

Averett held off Lynchburg for an 8-5 non-conference victory. The red-hot Cougars have won 12 of their last 13 games, including six in a row. Senior left-hander Tyler Long earned the win despite giving up four runs on eight hits in five innings on the mound. Jeffery Younkins led Averett's offense with a 3-for-4 day at the plate and three RBIs.

A pair of three-run innings and a masterful pitching performance by Ethan Holt lifted Heidelberg to their fourth straight victory to open the season. The Student Princes defeated Alvernia 6-3. Holt, who missed the 2012 season recovering from an injury, threw a complete game and scattered six hits and struck out ten. Heidelberg defeated Dominican 9-3 earlier in the day.

Junior Hunter Frierson drove in juniorTTate Ratcliff with a sacrifice fly in the 11th inning, and senior Ryan Glover pitched a perfect frame as the Mississippi College baseball team snapped a two-game losing streak with a 6-5 win over Millsaps on Tuesday night at Twenty Field.

The Penn State Abington Nittany Lions continued their 2013 Spring Break trip losing a heartbreaking eleven-inning game to Aurora. The Nittany Lions held a 5-2 lead entering the top of the ninth, but a pair of unearned runs helped the #21-ranked Spartans force extra innings, where they finally pulled out the win by a 6-5 margin.

King's closed out a very successful spring trip going 4-1 after knocking off Mount Aloysius 10-4 in the trip finale. Rob Lemoncelli and Chris Sweeney each went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI. Tim Marchetti also notched a 3-for-5 day with a pair of runs batted in. Aaron Kovach paced the offense for the Mounties going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run scored.

Matt Bittner hit a two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning to help Penn State Behrend defeat Misericordia 4-2 in non-conference action. The Lions rallied from a one-run deficit with a single run in the seventh and two in the eighth to earn their second victory of the season.

Thomas More outslugged Eastern Mennonite, 23-13, in a run-ruled game at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational in Auburndale, Florida. Senior infielder David Kennett led the team at the plate as he set the single game school record for hits as he six-for-six with three doubles, and a school record six runs scored.

The offensive doors finally opened for East Texas Baptist with a seven-run fourth inning giving way to an 8-6 victory over Dallas Christian.  With the game tied at one, ETBU erupted for seven runs in the fourth to blow open the game and run away with their fifth win of the year.

Catholic got its offense in gear, exploding for 12 runs on 12 hits in a 12-4 victory over York (Pa.). The Cardinals scored four runs in the 1st and then sealed the win with a five-run 5th to improve to 6-2 this season.

Muhlenberg defeated Geneva, 11-2, in the first game of a doubleheader, for their third straight win in the Sunshine State. It was the first time in program history that Muhlenberg scored in double digits and allowed two or fewer runs in three consecutive games. The streak, and the Mules’ winning streak, ended in the nightcap when Geneva scored twice in the top of the seventh for a 6-4 win.
