Muhlenberg banged out 13 hits, breaking open a close game with five runs in the last two innings to defeat York 7-1 on Wednesday. Freshman Timmy Pilrun sparkled in his first start, pitching into the seventh inning without allowing a run against a strong Spartan squad that won 29 games a season ago.
After falling behind by four runs early on, Texas Lutheran rattled off 11 straight runs to secure an 11-4 non-conference home win over DeSales at Katt-Isbel Field. The Bulldog offense was firing on all cylinders for the second straight game, racking up 16 hits after collecting 21 in its last game, a 25-9 win over Centenary.
Herc Ingels and Chuck Noble each drove in three runs a piece as Guilford picked up a Wednesday afternoon ODAC victory over Emory & Henry, 8-5. The Quakers pulled away from Emory & Henry in the bottom of the fifth inning thanks to a six-run rally after the contest remained tight in the prior innings.
T.J. Orchard, Nick Scourey and Carson Blumenthal combined for a two-hitterf combined for a two-hitter in the nightcap as visiting Whitworth topped Central Washington University, 5-1, to earn a split of a non-conference doubleheader at the CWU Baseball Field. The Wildcats won the opener, 14-7.
Misericordia used a combination of timely hitting and dominant pitching to capture a 6-1 victory over Kenyon in Fort Pierce, FL. Chris Boroch and Chad Bell led the Cougar's offense with two hits, two RBI and a stolen base each. Michael Turton picked up the win on the mound in his first collegiate start. The right-hander was terrific, allowing just one run while striking out four over five innings of work.

Eastern Mennonite busted out their bats in a big way on Wednesday, scoring 27 runs in 13 innings, gaining a doubleheader sweep over Milwaukee School of Engineering. Patrick Love batted 4-5 with five RBIs and two runs scored in the opener. In game two, Kyle Armstrong and Ryan Hedrick had three hits, two runs and two RBIs.
T.J. Devore was the first player to score for the Bluffton and the Beavers never stopped. Bluffton scored 40 runs in a 16-3 win over Northland and a 24-1 win in their game with Finlandia. The Beavers made the most of the sixth inning in each games scoring 17 combined runs in that inning.
Finlandia did not have much success in the morning either. The Lions gave up 21 runs in a 21-2 loss to Ohio Northern. Dan Belliveau led the Polar Bears at the plate with six RBI on two hits, a triple and home run.
Corban's offense struck early and often while their pitching limited Pacific's opportunities as the Boxers dropped a 8-0 non-conference game to the Warriors at Chuck Bafaro Stadium. The Warriors cobbled out all but one of their 14 hits over the first five innings and succeeded on capitalizing on two Boxers' errors. Corban starter Caleb Henry did not allow Pacific's first hit of the game until the fifth inning as five pitchers succeeded in limiting the Boxers to just three hits on the night.
Michael Puglisi's ninth-inning RBI single gave Lebanon Valley its second walk-off victory in six games as the Flying Dutchmen took down Susquehanna, the defending Landmark Conference champion, 14-13 in Fort Pierce, Fla. The weather back home was cold and icy but the LVC bats stayed hot in the Sunshine State as the Dutchmen racked up 20 hits and their third double-digit run total of the season against the Crusaders.
