No. 9 Rhodes downed Berry in the first game of their three-game SAA series on Saturday, 7-0. The Lynx racked up 13 hits in the contest, with Justin Genter pacing the Lynx, going 3-for-4 at the plate. Daniel Morris got the start, and the win for the Lynx, as he threw eight complete innings. The junior had five strikeouts in the Lynx fourth shutout of the season. Colton Mayo came in to relieve, throwing the final inning.

Spalding swept both games of a doubleheader over No. 25 Webster, marking the first time the Gorloks have been swept in a SLIAC doubleheader since 2003. The Golden Eagles used a three run fifth inning to top the Gorloks 6-4 in the first game. In the second game, the Golden Eagles used clutch hitting to walk-off with the 4-3 victory.

The No. 13 Trinity (Texas) Tigers finished off a SCAC weekend series at Southwestern with a split of Saturday's doubleheader. Trinity lost the opening game 12-11 on a walk-off home run, then avoided a series sweep with a 13-4 win in the finale. Trinity now stands 17-8 overall this season, as well as 4-5 in conference play. Southwestern suffered its first SCAC loss of the year, and is now 5-1 in league play (13-10 overall).

Looking to make some headway in the NWC standings against league-leading Willamette, 24th-ranked Linfield got stellar pitching performances from its All-America starters and red-hot hitting from its co-captains to take 7-0 and 3-2 victories from the Bearcats at Roy Helser Field. Chris Haddeland and Aaron Thomassen registered complete-game victories, while Corey VanDomelen counted a first career home run among his four extra-base hits and Eric Lawson supplied five more hits.

The 19th-ranked Emory Eagles swept a doubleheader from Chicago at Chappell Park on Saturday, claiming an 11-4 win in the early game, followed by a 10-1 victory in the late contest. Despite both teams being members of the University Athletic Association, Saturday's games were the first two between the teams since the 1995 campaign.  Emory improved to 7-0 all-time against the Maroons.

The fifth-ranked Birmingham-Southern Panthers picked up two conference wins, defeating Sewanee 11-4 and 5-0 at Striplin Field. Blake Stevens started on the mound in game one and moved to 6-0, throwing five innings and giving up five hits, no walks, and no runs while striking out eight Tiger batters. Ryan Gaines took care of the Tigers in game two, throwing the complete-game seven-inning shutout, holding Sewanee to two hits while striking out seven batters.

Junior Chris Callahan drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning with a double to give the Western Connecticut State Colonials a 2-1 victory over the 12th-ranked Southern Maine Huskies in the second game of the teams’ Little East Conference doubleheader at Dutchess Stadium in Fishkill, N.Y. The Colonials took the first game, 14-8, by scoring six runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to complete the doubleheader sweep. The two wins extended the Colonials’ winning streak to six games.

D.J. Utley tied the Wartburg single game school record with his third home run in a game. He tied the mark set by Jake Shandri against Dubuque.

Wartburg moved to 17-2 on the year with its 14-3 and 11-8 sweep over Central. In game one it was the Blake Willis and Max Langheinrich show. Willis went 3-4 with three runs scored in this game and Langheinrich pitched six innings and struck out four. In game two if was D.J. Utley's turn. Utley's three hits in the nightcap were all home runs, netting him a career-high six RBIs.

Chris Bishop pitched Pacific Lutheran to a 2-1 win in the opener and George Fox picked up a 9-3 win in the second game as the 23rd-ranked Lutes split a NWC doubleheader against the Bruins at PLU Field. Bishop threw eight innings and allowed only one unearned run while striking out seven to earn his fourth win of the season. AJ Konopaski picked up his NCAA Div. III-leading eighth save of the season after striking out two in the top of the ninth. Zach Rapacz and Andrew Reichenbach each totaled three hits in the second game, with Reichenbach driving in four runs to lead the Bruins.

No. 12 UW-Stevens Point scored late in game one and early in game two to sweep St. Norbert 7-4 and 3-2 in a non-conference doubleheader at University Field. The game was originally to be played in De Pere but the field was deemed unplayable and was moved the the Pointers home diamond.

LeTourneau split a doubleheader with No. 20 Concordia (Texas) to snap a three-game losing skid in Austin at Tornado Field. The YellowJackets lost game one, 3-0 and posted a 4-1 win in the nightcap. In the opener, Cameron Cox went the distance for the six-hit shutout and struck out seven to raise his record to 7-0. In game two, Justin Jenkins was staked to a 3-0 lead and pitched effectively in a complete game victory. Jenkins allowed seven hits, striking out 13.
