Keuka swept Crown in a doubleheader on Monday in Florida. The Green and Gold shutout the Storm in game 1, 8-0, and defeated them 2-1 in the nightcap. With the win against Crown in game 1, Head Coach Rick Ferchen recorded his 40th victory in charge of the Green and Gold. That passed the previous leader, Jeff Cleanthes, who had 39 victories in his three seasons at Keuka.

Pitt-Greensburg was trailing 7-4 in the bottom of the eighth inning, and Ryan Dodson stepped in and sent a grand slam soaring over the centerfield fence to deliver the Bobcats an 8-7 come-from-behind victory over Bethany. With the win, Pitt-Greensburg evens their record to 8-8 while the Bison fall to 5-8 on the year.

No. 11 Salisbury posted a pair of big innings as it downed Stevenson13-5 in non-conference action at Sugar Field. Salisbury threw up five runs in the top of the fourth to take a 7-1 lead.  After a run in the fifth, Salisbury scored four more times in the seventh to go up 12-2 and cruised to the win.

Covenant scored early and often en route to a 17-8 win over Sewanee, at historic Montgomery Field. The visiting Scots scored four runs in the first, one in the second, and then broke open the game in the top of the fourth with nine runs. Covenant then added two runs in the fifth and one in the ninth.

A wild walk-off win for Alvernia propelled the Crusaders to a doubleheader sweep of Messiah at Angelica Park. Trailing 3-2, the Crusaders loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning of game one. Nathan Sides hit a grounder to third and the Messiah third baseman tagged third for a force out but threw wild to first allowing Mike Cunningham to score the winning run all the way from first. Alvernia kept the momentum going with five runs in the first inning of game two en route to a 7-3 win in the final game of the three-game series.

Bridgewater (Va.) moved closer to the top of the conference baseball standings with a 14-2 victory over the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins. With the victory the Eagles and Marlins are now tied at 7-3, both percentage points behind Roanoke's 6-2 record. The outing was the second straight gem tossed by the Eagles lefty Ryan Leake. Earlier Monday, Leake was named ODAC Pitcher of the Week in recognition of his eight shutout innings in a victory over nationally-ranked Shenandoah.

A huge offensive performance powered Trine to a doubleheader sweep of Calvin in MIAA-action at Calvin Field. The Thunder scored 23 runs on 33 hits in the twinbill, 10 of which went for extra bases. Trine's 20 hits in game two were tied for the second-most on record in a game in team history. The Thunder took game one 11-2, before rallying back from an early four-run deficit to prevail 12-9 in the nightcap. J.J. LaBounty, Jake Kendall and Jacob Heller led the offensive onlsaught with five hits apiece. LaBounty picked up a team-high six RBIs.

Wisconsin Lutheran split a pair of games against non-conference opponent Beloit, winning the first matchup 5-4, before dropping the nightcap 14-6 at Neumann Family Field.

Westminister (Mo.) and Middlebury played a game that looked like it should have been on the pages of D3football.com. The Blue Jays finished the game winning by three touchdowns as they defeated the Panthers 29-8. The Blue Jays dropped their second game of the day to Williams 9-8.

Nichols topped Lesley in both ends of a non-conference doubleheader this evening at the New England Baseball Complex. The pair of wins pushes the Bison to an even 8-8 record while the Lynx slip to 6-10 with the setbacks.

Trevor Dudar drove in the game-winning run and earned the win on the mound as Simpson came back for a 7-5 win in the nightcap, giving the Simpson baseball team a split with Coe in the Iowa Conference opener. Simpson lost game one 9-5 despite getting out to a 3-0 lead.

Seniors Cody Bohlman and Hayden Tsutsui both went 3-for-4 and delivered clutch RBI doubles as Carleton erased a three-run deficit and defeated Bethany Lutheran, 5-3. Bohlman also closed the game out on the mound, registering his first career save. Carleton finished with 14 hits in the contest.
