Westminster's sophomore Adam Mundle put a mark in the Westminster game-day record book with three triples in Sunday's 15-1 short-game series finale win over Eureka. The previous record was two triples in a game held by multiple Blue Jay hitters. The Westminster Blue Jays ended the series with a sweep, bringing them to 9-4 in conference play and 6-3 in division play.
Mitchell salvaged the final game of its weekend series with Elms, winning 4-2 in a clash of the top two teams in the NECC standings.
The game featured timely hitting—all six runs were scored with two outs—and plenty of strong pitching and defense. Mitchell got a quality start from Axel De Jesus and a stellar relief appearance from Eddie Santiago, who closed out the game with 3.2 scoreless innings from the hill. Mitchel holds a two game advantage over Elms.
Exploding for nine unanswered runs and belting a trio of home runs over the fences, Linfield took care of business with an emotionally charged 16-7 victory over rival George Fox as the Northwest Conference regular season concluded for both teams. To secure a spot in the four-team NWC Tournament, the Wildcats also needed a Pacific victory over Whitman, and the Boxers failed to cooperate, losing to the Whitties 6-4 in a 10-inning battle. The Wildcats, Bruins and Boxers finished in a three-way tie for third place in the final team standings at 14-10, but the Bruins and Boxers earned the final two spots in the tournament, to be hosted at top seeded Whitworth next weekend. Pacific Lutheran, the second seen in the upcoming NWC tounament, nearly overcame a large deficit for the second consective day but a late run gave Lewis & Clark a 6-5 victory.
Rose-Hulman completed a three-game series sweep at Bluffton with a 10-5 victory. Rose-Hulman scored three times in the second and fourth innings to gain an early advantage, then five pitchers combined to hold off the Bluffton offense to secure the victory. The Fightin' Engineers also remained in first place in the conference standings after Sunday's win.
Freshman pinch hitter Ryan Gaffney knocked a two-out walk-off double to centerfield in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Farmingdale State a 1-0 game two victory over Old Westbury. The Rams also took game one, 2-1, and improved to 8-2 in the Skyline with the doubleheader sweep.
Baldwin Wallace defeated Pitt-Bradford, 14-7, in a single, nine-inning non-conference game at the Kessel Athletic Complex. The Yellow Jackets scored six times in the first, two in the second, four in the fifth and two more in the sixth to build a commanding, 14-0 lead. Pitt-Bradford fought back with five runs in the bottom of the seventh and two in the eighth to cut the BW lead to 14-7 but could get no closer. At the plate, BW outhit Pitt-Bradford, 19-10. Freshman left fielder Reese Albright had the finest game of his young career as he was 5-for-6 with a double, run scored and a RBI.
Rochester rebounded from a sluggish Saturday sweep at the hands of Union to win both games of a doubleheader against the Dutchmen at Towers Field. Rochester edged out Union 3-2 in game one and then won the second game, rallying for a 7-4 win. Union snapped a 10-game winning streak in the process while Rochester stopped a five game losing skid.
Kenyon starting pitcher Jesse Bogacz struck out a career-high 13 in game one of Sunday's doubleheader with the Oberlin Yeomen. The Lords held on to win that game 2-1, but Oberlin evened things out with a 6-4 victory in the nightcap. Bogacz had Oberlin guessing for seven strong innings. He allowed just five hits and three walks while surpassing his previous high of 11 strikeouts notched in a win over Earlham earlier this year.

Lebanon Valley downed the Penn St.-Harrisburg Lions by an 8-3 score. In the win, a milestone was reached as Brett Fundell reached the 100-career hit plateau, joining his teammates Zach Smith and Zac Edwards who accomplished the feat earlier this year.
Ithaca avoided an Empire 8 Conference sweep at Utica with a 20-6 victory. Ithaca pounded out 19 hits, including seven for extra bases. The Bombers have now scored 20 or more runs for the second time this season. The last time Ithaca plated 20-plus runs twice took place in 2005 when the Bombers notched 37 runs against Cazenovia and 20 versus Montclair State.
Maine- Farmington swept the weekend and season series with Lyndon State by winning both games of the doubleheader at Hippach Field. The Beavers shutout the Hornets, 2-0, in the first game and came back to win, 6-2, in the second game. Kyle Peterson pitched a four-hit gem to earn the complete game one victory. But in game two, the Beavers had to play the role of comeback kids.
St. Scholastica finished off its three-game weekend at Wade Stadium with yet another victory, taking down the Bethel Royals by a score of 3-2. With three runs in the first it looked like the Saits were on their way to 10+ runs for the eighth consecutive game. The Bethel pitching staff stiffened but fell a run short in their comeback attempt.
Needing its first series win of the season, Carthage took two-of-three from CCIW-opponent Augustana by winning a 3-1 contest over the Vikings at Augie Schmidt Field in Kenosha, Wis. The two teams split a Saturday doubleheader as Augustana won the first game, 6-3, to extend Carthage's conference-losing streak to four games, but the Red Men came back to take the nightcap, 3-2.
Junior Andrew Heideman tossed a gem in the opener and Concordia (Wis.) rallied late in game two, completing a key sweep over Rockford in a NACC twinbill at Kapco Park. Heideman's two-hitter helped the Falcons win the opener 3-2, while CUW scored nine times over the seventh and eighth innings in game two for a 9-3 win.
Hiram captured the first game of a doubleheader at Allegheny 5-3 to close out a 4-game weekend series. The teams split the four game series as Allegheny is two games off the NCAC-East race lead and Hiram is six games back at the bottom of the standings.

Southern Vermont Dylan Angelo became the all-time winningest pitcher in SVC baseball history as the hosting Mountaineers defeated Lesley 14-2 in the NECC series' rubber match at Bill Epstein Field.
King's College split a doubleheader with conference foe DeSales at Butz Field in Center Valley. The Monarchs' seventh inning rally fell short in a 6-5 game one loss before taking the nightcap 5-3. The split enables the Bulldogs to win the season series from the Monarchs after winning the first game of the series 11-2 back on March 24th. The win for the Monarchs is their first over DeSales since the 2013 season and the first win in Center Valley since the 2011 season.
Keuka split with NEAC leading Penn St.-Berks in a doubleheader at Kuhl Field. Penn St.-Berks won the first game 7-6 in 13 innings. Keuka scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh of game two, capped by the Dakota Skinner walkoff single, to defeat the Nittany Lions 5-4 and earn the split.
Endicott split its Commonwealth Coast Conference doubleheader against Western New England at Trelease Park. The Gulls fell to the Golden Bears in game one by a 2-1 score, but took game two 4-2 to earn the split.
Josh Crummer and Frank Fortunato each drove in four runs as the Presidents took the season series from Thiel with a 9-2 win over the Tomcats at Ross Memorial Park. With the win, Washington & Jefferson took two-of-three from Thiel the last two days giving the Presidents a tie for third with the Tomcats, who hold an identical league record.
Missed opportunities cost the Carleton College baseball team on Sunday as the Knights lost to Saint John’s University, 5-3 in 14 innings. This was the completion of an April 6 contest that was suspended due to darkness. Eleven days ago, the umpires waved the teams off the field due to the low light conditions. At the time the score was knotted 3-3 after 10 innings. When play resumed on Sunday, both sides had multiple chances to break the tie, something the visitors finally did without the aide of a base hit.

Manhattanville picked up a much needed conference victory, and earned the win for the season series against first place Misericordia, splitting the doubleheader matchup with the Cougars. Robbie Lynch paced the Valiant offensive attack Sunday, dishing out four hits and driving in a run over the two games.
Freshman Brendan McNerney threw the second complete game in his last three starts to lead RPI to a Liberty League doubleheader split at Rochester Tech. After falling in Game 1, 6-0, the Engineers battled back for a 6-2 victory over the Tigers in game two.
Mount Union beat Penn State-Behrend 11-1 in a non-conference game at 23rd Street Field in Alliance. Mike Martin took a shutout into the eighth inning and pitched a complete game seven-hitter to get his first win of the season. He got plenty of help from an offense that scored in each of the first five innings and belted out 17 hits for the game.
Muhlenberg rode the pitching of Timmy Pilrun to an 8-1 win, earning a split of its home Centennial Conference doubleheader with Washington College. The Mules rallied late in the first game but fell short, 6-4. Pilrun pitched seven superb innings to pick up his fourth win of the season. He faced two batters over the minimum, allowing just a single and a walk, and only one of the runners reached second base. He struck out four and retired the last eight batters he faced. The offense backed Pilrun with 11 hits.
