Barnard announced as head coach at Penn State Altoona Penn State Altoona announced the hiring of RJ Barnard as the interim head coach after Joe Piotti recently retired as the top of the baseball program. Barnard, who graduated from Penn State Altoona and played for the Lions from 2006-2009, becomes the program’s second head coach since it was reestablished as a varsity sport at the campus in 1997. Shallenberg returns to Cairn Cairn named Phill Shallenberger as the new skipper for the Highlanders' program. Shallenberger was named head coach after working with the program as an assistant coach in 2014 and 2015. Most recently, Shallenberger was a graduate manager with Belmont.

Fittry promoted to Hibert head coach School official announced the promotion of Drew Fittry as the new head coach at Hilbert. Fittry was part of the Hawks' coaching staff that guided the team to the program's first AMCC playoff appearance and helped match the overall and AMCC win records in 2016.

DiBartolomeo to lead Neumann Neumann officials announced the hiring of Dan DiBartolomeo as the Head Baseball Coach. DiBartolomeo has been an assistant coach at Neumann for the past two seasons, where he oversaw much of the recruiting process as well as working with the infielders, base runners and hitting.

Leonard replaces Smith at Middlebury Mike Leonard has been named the head coach of the Middlebury program. Leonard comes to Middlebury from Bates, where he has served in the same role for the last six seasons, taking over from recently retired Bob Smith.

Schwall takes reins of Warrior program Former Wisconsin Lutheran College baseball standout Andy Schwall has been named the next head coach of the Warriors baseball program, Director of Athletics Skip Noon has announced. Schwall becomes the seventh head coach in the program's 30-year history.

Blake steps down Ben Blake has stepped down as the head coach at Simpson College, school officials announced Friday. The 25th head coach in program history, Blake spent 10 seasons as the Storm's head coach, going 194-222 since taking over in 2007.
