Concordia-Chicago dropped three spots to newcomers to this weeks poll but made a case for moving up next week with a 11-6 win over No. 9 St. John Fisher. The teams played a fiercely-contested battle, but the Cougars' speed ultimately decided this contest. A six-run eighth inning broke a 5-5 tie, and the Cougars rolled to their fifth consecutive victory.

Four pitchers combined for the shutout as William Paterson blanked visiting Farmingdale State, 6-0. Sophomore Chris Babb allowed two hits and struckout out five while throwing 4.0 innings on a pitch count. Eric Rosenberg, Zach Polzer, and Bryan Kopko followed, keeping the Rams off the scoreboard.
Lehman defeated # 23 Roanoke 10-4 in Myrtle Beach, SC. It was the first time that a Lehman baseball squad ever defeated a nationally ranked opponent. Jeff Ledesma set the stage for the upset in the first inning by smacking a two-out home run. The Lightning put the game out of reach in the ninth as they scored six runs, highlighed by a Chris Lopez three-run home run.
William Peace continued its winning ways this week by sweeping a midweek doubleheader against the Dean College Bulldogs. The Pacers have now won three games in a row, and have matched their win total from last season just half way through the 2017 campaign. The Pacer bats were hot early and never looked back with 6-4, 10-1 wins.
Sophomore Colin Selby, junior Cullen Moore and junior Rick Spiers combined on a one-hitter with 15 strikeouts, and freshman Zach Evans drove in four as 11th-ranked Randolph-Macon posted a 13-1 victory at St. Mary's (Md). The Yellow Jackets recorded a season-high 17 hits and matched their season best with 13 runs.
Arcadia picked up a 9-6 victory over visiting Franklin & Marshall at Erny Field. The game had been scheduled for nine innings, but was halted due to darkness. This was Arcadia's first-ever win over F&M, which won each of the first two meetings between the two programs. The Diplomats won the first-ever meeting by a count of 5-1 in 2015 and were 7-5 winners last season. The home team has won all three meetings in the series.
The University of Dallas held on to a nail-biting 8-7 victory on Tuesday afternoon against Dallas Christian. The home Crusaders did not muster much offense until the sixth inning and combined for all runs in that and the frame that followed. The guests rallied for five runs within the last six outs, including a three-run ninth.
Virginia Wesleyan snapped a two-game losing skid with a 6-1 victory over regional rival, Christopher Newport. It is the first win over the Captains since VWC claimed a 7-4 victory at home on April 20, 2012. Nick Bay surrendered just one CNU run, striking out one while walking two and allowing three hits in four innings. Jimmy Ziemke, Chance Pauley, Jacob Pilarski, and Riley Koonce combined to throw five innings of scoreless relief while allowing just two hits.

Muhlenberg pounded out 19 hits and scored in six of nine innings to win its second straight game, 13-8 against Catholic. Sophomore Matt Riebesall led the offensive onslaught by going 5-for-6 with six RBI. The big win came against a Catholic team that came in with a 6-1 record and team ERA of 2.38.
St. John's (Minn.) settled for a doubleheader split with Mitchell in Fort Myers, Fla. The Johnnies scored the game's final four runs in game one's 7-4 win, but gave up two runs with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning in an 8-7 extra-inning loss to earn the split.
Wheaton (ill.) earned its second consecutive victory this afternoon with a 6-1 victory over Heidelberg. With the victory, the Thunder avenges a 2-1 loss to the Student Princes on Saturday. Wheaton scored six runs on 10 hits and committed three errors. Heidelberg was held to one run on five hits. In his first career start, Kyle Ferraro allowed just one run in four innings of work with three strikeouts. Ty Hoeksema earned the victory with three one-hit innings of relief work. Josiah Longenecker and Nick Johnson each contributed a scoreless inning.
Justin Foreman's grand slam in the fifth inning gave Penn State-Behrend their first lead of the day and helped Behrend baseball defeat Widener, 14-12. The Lions had an explosive 10-run inning in the fifth that completely shifted the momentum of the game as they headed to their second win in as many tries.
Nichols defeated Wheaton (Mass.) 9-6 in extra innings in non-conference action at Clark. The Bison trailed 6-2 after seven innings before scratching across four runs in the eighth inning before scoring three runs in extra-innings to take the win.
