Pacific pitchers Aiden Prentice and Drew Fagerness combined on the six-inning, no-hitter in a 6-1 non-conference win over the Whitman Blues on February 19th for the first no-no of the 2017 season.

Whitman made sure their NWC opener was a memorable one with first-year Eric Ma's no-hitter in the Blues' 2-0 win over Whitworth Saturday February 25 at Borleske Stadium in the nightcap. Ma's gem left a sparklingly clean scorebook as he allowed one baserunner in only the second, third, fourth and eighth innings, each via a walk. In between he was in even greater command with 12 strikeouts in shutting down the Pirates in order over the other five innings.

Saint John's junior pitcher Nick Noack started the season with a bang, hurling a seven-inning no-hitter in a 1-0 win over UW-La Crosse on Februry 26. He struck out seven and totaled 71 pitches against a La Crosse team that advanced to the NCAA Division III World Series, batted .370 and scored 452 runs in 49 games a year ago. The no-hitter was the Johnnies' first since April 21, 2011 (Hayden Zimmerman '12 vs. Saint Mary's).

Cairn continued their winning ways with a doubleheader sweep of the Valley Forge Patriots on Thursday March 2nd. The Highlanders emerged victorious with a 24-11 win in Game One after a sloppy showing from both sides. Cairn cleaned up their play for Game Two, and shutdown the Patriots on both sides of the ball. Eric Stringlen and Matthew Meyers combined for a five-inning, darkness shortened no-hitter in a 13-0 victory. Stinglen worked the first three innings and walked two batters while striking out four. Meyers struck out one in two perfect innings of relief.

Christopher Arcos fired a seven-inning no-hitter as La Verne routed Claremont-Mudd-Scripps for a 10-0 win in the second game of a doubleheader at Ben Hines Field on Saturday March 4. The Chino Hills native struck out five batters and was perfect in the last five innings of the game after issuing two walks in the first two innings. And he was economical with his pitches, throwing a total of 88 pitches.

Sophomore right-hander Paul Wetmore recorded Western New England's first no-hitter since 2013 as the Golden Bears opened their 2017 campaign with a doubleheader split against SUNY Old Westbury on March 5th at the Baseball Heaven Complex. Wetmore struck out six batters and walked four during his 96-pitch, no-hit performance. Wetmore, who pitched just 9.2 innings over six appearances as a freshman last spring, is the third Golden Bear to accomplish the feat over the past 13 seasons.

Neumann defeated Salisbury 6-1 on Tuesday March 7 behind a combined no-hitter by Zach Cooney and Zach Youngberg. This is the first combined no-hitter for the Knights and the first no-hitter at home. Neumann had a no-hitter by Ray Schmoltze on March 27, 2010 in a 12-1 win against Centenary in the first game of a doubleheader in Hackettstown, N.J. Cooney started the home opener and went 7.0 innings. He allowed one unearned run and struck out five. Youngberg pitched the eighth and ninth innings.

On Friday March 17 sophomore lefthanded pitcher Brian Johnson pitched a complete-game no-hitter to lead the Pride to a 5-0 victory over Colby Sawyer at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. The last Springfield College baseball player to throw a no hitter for the maroon and white was Kevin Cahill '01 G'04, when he no hit crosstown-rival Western New England in the 2001 season.

Jeremy Rice faced one batter over the minimum and fired a nine-inning no-hitter, leading Southwestern to a 21-0 victory over Blackburn on Friday March 17 in the series opener at Rockwell Field. Rice (2-3) retired the first 16 batters he faced, but R.J. Rios broke up the perfect-game bid after reaching base on an errant throw. The right-hander then breezed through the final 11 hitters. The final out came on Brandon Smith's pop up that was gloved by Ben Little behind the mound. Rice, a senior from Houston, threw 113 pitches, including 80 strikes, and struck out seven batters. It marked Southwestern's first no-hitter since Brett Marcom accomplished the feat in a seven-inning win over Schreiner on March 8, 2014.

Blackburn sophomore lefthanded pitcher Bubby Stepp pitched the first no-hitter in Blackburn history by blanking Eureka 7-0 on Friday March 24 in Eureka.  Stepp faced the minimum as three Eureka baserunners that reached via two errors and one walk were erased by a pickoff and two double plays. The story of the day was Stepp, he struck out six hitters while allowing just that one walk.

St. Mary's (Minn.) junior pitcher R.J. Brown tossed a seven-inning, complete-game no-hitter, leading the Cardinals to a 10-0 victory over the Spartans in the first of three games at the Wheaton Round-Robin Tournament at Lee Pfund Stadium on Friday March 17th.  Brown was literally unhittable in recording his first collegiate complete game—let alone no-hitter—striking out six and not walking a batter in leading Saint Mary's to the victory.

Nolan Watson threw the 20th no-hitter in school history, Michael Netzel hit two home runs — including a Grand slam — and the defending SCIAC Champs crushed CMS 16-0 for a mercy-rule win in seven innings at Anderson Field on Friday March 24th. Watson struck out Trey Smith on a foul tip and then got Henri Levenson to foul out to Oxy catcher Jared Baur for the final two outs, sending all of his teammates screaming towards him on the mound for an exciting celebration. "Of course it's in the back of your mind the entire time," Watson said. "But being focused on executing to your spots doesn't change, regardless. I tried not to let it creep in and distract me. The feeling was indescribable, a relief and a weight off my shoulders. ... It's just an honor to be a part of Occidental's history."

Lancaster Bible returned to Charger Field in a big way on Saturday as three Chargers pitchers combined for a no-hitter in game one and four more combined for a one-hitter in game two, taking both games from Valley Forge. Junior Zack Leonard, freshman Jesse Carver and senior Gabe Yoder combined to throw the program's second-ever no-hitter in game one as Lancaster Bible allowed just two base runners en route to the 10-0 victory. The no-hitter almost came two years to the day of the program's first no-hitter when Nate Burns no-hit the same Valley Forge team on March 30, 2015.

Junior Kenny Carrier of FDU-Florham tossed a no-hitter to lead the Devils to a 3-1 win over DeSales Sunday April 2. Playing on the road as the home team, the Devils gave up a run without surrendering a hit in te top of the first. A pair of walks sandwiched a hit-by-pitch to load the bases, and all the runners would move up 90 feet, scoring the first and only run of the day for DeSales.  Carrier allowed just one baserunner after the rocky first inning. His seventh and final inning was the best of the afternoon, getting the final out of the seven-inning affair on a strikeout. Carrier struck out six and walked three on the afternoon, while DeAngelis had a pair of hits for the Devils.

Stevenson sophomore Dan Williams threw the second no-hitter in Mustang baseball program history to open a doubleheader against Albright in MAC Commonwealth action Sunday April 2 at Sugar Field.  Stevenson won 4-0 in William's no hitter. Williams' no-hitter is the second in Stevenson baseball history and the first since April 11, 2005, when Gary Sanders no-hit SUNY Purchase. Williams threw 96 pitches, 61 for strikes, and struck out five while walking two.  He faced just two batters over the minimum and improved his record to 3-1 on the season.  Williams recorded back-to-back swinging strikeouts of Noah Beebe and Tanner Brescancine to end the game and close out the no-no.

In the opening game of Sunday April 2nd afternoon's Little East Conference doubleheader with Pymouth State, sophomore righty Jordan Muchin struck out 13 batters on the way to tossing the 12^th no-hitter in Eastern Connecticut State University history in a 10-0, seven-inning victory. The no-hitter by Muchin (2-1) was the first in 12 years for Eastern (9-4, 1-1 LEC). He walked three in facing only three over the 21-batter minimum. Muchin struck out the side in the second and two batters each in the third, fourth, sixth and seventh.

Sophomore right-hander Cole Chang threw a seven-inning no-hitter as the Macalester took two from Augsburg on Friday April 7. The Scots, who won 5-0 and 22-1. Chang faced 26 batters, with one walk and four hit-batsmen. He recorded 12 fly-ball outs and six groundouts while striking out three in seven innings. Chang's no-hitter is the first in head coach Matt Parrington's 21-year career at Macalester.

Kyle Bumpass seven-inning no-hitter in game one of a doubleheader stole the show for Illinois Tech on Friday April 7. Tech took a 3-0 victory in game one behind the junior's masterful performance and used the momentum to ride to another 3-0 win in game two. Bumpass had nine strikeouts, with one walk. Two runners reached on error.

MacMurray junior pitcher Cory Steinhart tossed a no-hitter in the Highlanders 5-0 win over Robert Morris on Saturday April 15th. Steinhart was on early, striking out the side in the opening frame including back to back swinging strikeouts for the final two outs. Steinhart would work with a perfect game up until the seventh inning when the second batter of the inning drew a walk. With a 5-0 lead, Steinhart was able to bear down and struck out the next batter before ending the game on a groundout back to the mound.

The Trinity (Texas) Tigers hammered out 22 hits on their way to a 19-0 victory on Friday April 21, but it was Dylan McGee's pitching gem that was the highlight of the night. McGee allowed just two walks in the game, and was perfect for the first 11 batters. McGee improved his season record to 4-2 with his first career no-hitter, recording 11 strikeouts, and allowing just two walks.  He threw 96 pitches in the game, including 61 strikes. The game marks Trinity's first no-hitter since 2015, when Ryan Gray, Chris Tate, Troy Nelson, and Taylor Hoesen combined to allow zero hits against Schreiner.  It is the first solo no-hitter for the Tigers since Chuck Huggins held Hendrix hitless in 2006

During senior weekend, a weekend that focuses on the final home contests at Stauffer Field for the Rhodes College baseball team, senior Blake Glauben simply clinched an extra weekend of home games for his fellow classmates and he did it in breath taking fashion. Glauben pitched nine complete, fanning 11 Colonels, and allowing no runs on no hits for his first career no hitter as the Lynx soared past Centre for a 6-0 win on Saturday April 22, clinching the No. 2 seed.

Sophomore Joey Krug threw the first no-hitter in school history as Finlandia (7-21) split with North Central (Minn.) (4-19), Saturday afternoon April 22 at Wintercrest Park.  Finnu lost 7-3 before winning 9-0. Krug (1-0) walked five and struck out seven batters in seven innings for the no-hitter.

Garrett Pelko threw a no-hitter in the opener to lead the Misericordia University baseball team to a doubleheader sweep, Sunday at Eastern on Sunday April 23. Pelko struck out eight and issued just won walk over seven innings in a 7-0 win.

R.J. Brown became the first Cardinal pitcher on record to throw two no-hitters in a single season, allowing just three base runners in leading Saint Mary's to a 4-0 win in the opening game of its Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader against Carleton at Mel Taube Field on April 28th.

Max Langheinrich went the first six and two-thirds innings, striking out nine, before yielding to Austin Bohling to finish the no-hitter for Wartburg in a 3-0 win vs. Webster in day one of the 2017 NCAA regionals on Thursday May 18. Webster ace Josh Fleming, who entered the game with an 0.53 ERA, started the game with seven and a third scoreless innings before Wartburg scratched out three runs in the eighth, one of them unearned. Langheinrich walked four and hit four batters, striking out nine, while Bohling walked two and got the win in relief to improve to 5-1.
