La Roche swept Mt. Aloysius College on the road in the AMCC Games of the Week Monday afternoon. The Redhawks defeated the Mounties 5-2 in game one and 19-3 in game two. Both teams were 10-0 in conference play heading into today's doubleheader. LRU baseball is now 12-0 overall and in conference play and sit alone atop the AMCC standings. La Roche has outscored their opponents 122-22 this season. Jake Seymour pitched his fourth complete game of the season in game one and improved to 4-0. In 7.0 innings pitched, Seymour struck-out a career-high 11 batters, walked one, allowed three hits and gave up his first two earned runs of the season. Through 27.0 innings pitched this season, Seymour posts an AMCC best 0.66 ERA. The Redhawks bats got hot in game two as they put up a season-high 19 runs on 24 hits. It's the most runs LRU has ever put up in 17 games against Mt. Aloysius dating back to 2014. It's also the most runs La Roche has scored in a game since April 10th, 2019 when they hung 24 runs against Penn St. Altoona. LRU recorded an astonishing season-high of 12 extra base hits (eight doubles, two triples, two homeruns). The last time the Redhawks put up that many XBH was on April 26th, 2017. Seven different Redhawks had at least one XBH.

Behind a complete game from Robert Brust, the Mount Saint Mary College Baseball team took the series finale from St. Joseph's-L.I. on Monday afternoon 5-1. The senior right-hander scattered five hits and fanned nine in his first win of the season. After allowing a run in the second on two wind-blown base hits, Brust settled in, allowing a walk in the fourth and a pair of singles in the sixth. Brust fanned the final batter of the sixth inning and retired the side in order in the final three frames to move to 1-1 on the season. Brust allowed just one more runner to reach scoring position after the second and retired the final 10 batters he faced. Brust allowed just five hits in the game, one for extra bases, allowing only the one run. He walked one batter and struck out nine in his second start of the season.

Griffen Pschigoda hit a pair of three-run homers Monday to lead Augustana to a 12-4 win over Carthage at Augie Schmidt Field. Coach Greg Wallace's club improved to 23-5 on the season and 15-5 in the CCIW, while the host Firebirds fell to 11-15 and 6-13, respectively. Alec Michaelson earned his staff-leading fifth win in as many decisions this year. He went 6 2/3 innings and allowed eight hits and three runs with one walk and six strikeouts. Earlham College piled up 17 runs on 14 hits and 15 Anderson University walks as the Quakers downed the Ravens, 17-10, in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup on Monday night at Don Brandon Field. Trailing 6-4 after three innings, Earlham put up three runs in the top of the fourth including two runs that crossed on Austin Hatfield's single to left-center. Andrew Bradley singled home the third run later in the frame, giving the Quakers a 7-6 lead. A seven-run uprising by Earlham in the fifth inning extended the Quakers' lead to 14-6, enough of a margin for the win.

If Saint Mary's University's coach Nick Winecke was concerned that his squad might show any ill effects after dropping the first two games of their three-game Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series against St. Olaf, the Cardinals quickly put those fears to rest. Saint Mary's erupted for five, third-inning runs and their offense never showed signs of letting up, as the Cardinals scored in each of the final five innings they batted en route to an 11-0 victory at Mark Almli Field. Justin Weinberg finished the afternoon 4-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBIs to pace the Cardinals' 12-hit attack, while Taylor Anderson had two hits — a double and a triple — in four at-bats, scored twice and drove in a run. Eight of the 10 Cardinals who had an at-bat recorded at least one hit.

Keuka College came back from an opening game defeat, to top the Houghton College Highlanders and split the Empire 8 Conference doubleheader on Monday afternoon at Kuhl Field. Keuka College (5-9, 5-9 E8) dropped the opener to the Highlanders 12-6, but came back to defeat Houghton 15-6 in the nightcap. The Highlanders would add to their lead win an insurance run in the sixth. Houghton then scored four more in the seventh and hold the Wolves without a run as they defeated Keuka College 12-6 in game one of the doubleheader. The Green and Gold then took the lead in the nightcap with a go-ahead run in the seventh. Keuka College then got to the Highlander bullpen in the eighth inning and plated seven insurance runs on the way to the 15-6 victory. The top of the order provided the damage for the Wolves as the 1-4 batters combined for eight hits and 11 runs batted in.

First-year Michael Mancuso hit his first collegiate home run Monday afternoon as Susquehanna University split a Landmark Conference doubleheader with the University of Scranton. Susquehanna (7-8, 7-5 LC) took command of the first game, 7-1, while Scranton (11-7, 11-7 LC) claimed an 8-0 shutout win in the nightcap. The River Hawks broke game one open with four runs in the fifth. Fifth-year senior Justin Miller started the scoring with a two-out RBI single to stretch the lead to 4-1. After a Scranton pitching change, Morrow connected on a two-RBI double before junior Adam Schreck cracked an RBI double to score Morrow and push the SU lead to 7-1. The Royals scored six runs in the first inning and never looked back in posting an 8-0 run in the night cap. Kevin Johnson's one-out grand slam highlighted Scranton's first inning action.

Juniata dominated the final two games at Drew, 12-1 and 13-3, behind 23 walks across both games to move into first place in the Landmark Conference Monday afternoon at Doc Young Field. In both games Juniata out walked their hits with a 13-12 advantage in game one and a 12-7 walk advantage in game two. Joshua Gery, Dakotah Snyder, and Joey Allegrini earned four walks on the day. Julius Thomas got the game one win for the Eagles, tossing six innings while allowing six hits, one run, one walk, and striking out five. Jack Dovidio earned the win in the nightcap. Cestra scattered four hits, struck out three and walked one in an 85-pitch complete game. The lone blemish came on a Jack Henby solo homerun in the fifth.

Saint John's completed the series sweep of Carleton with its 20th win of the season, 12-2 in seven innings, on Monday, April 26, at Mel Taube Field. Manhattanville College swept the Yeshiva University Maccabees (0-8, 0-6 Skyline) by capturing a 16-2 Skyline Conference decision in the opener and 10-2 non-conference win in the finale Monday afternoon from Manhattanville College Baseball Field in Purchase, New York. With the wins, the Valiants move to 9-7 on the season and 7-6 in conference play. In game one, Nick Siano scored the game's final run in the sixth inning for the Valiants to settle the 16-2 run-rule final. In Game two, the Valiants scored in all but one inning to make it a sweep of Yeshiva.

Andrew Circelli was 3-for-7 with two doubles, and Michael Goretti hit a three-run home run in the 11th inning of the second game to lead St. Lawrence University to a sweep of RIT in a Liberty League doubleheader on Monday afternoon in Rochester. The Saints won the first game 4-0, then came back with a 5-2 win in the second game thanks to Goretti's heroics. Goretti was 2-for-5 in the second game, playing as the designated hitter in his first career start. With the wins, the Saints sweep the season series with the Tigers 4-0, and have now won seven straight games, the longest winning streak for the program since the team won seven straight games early in 2015. "The team is coming together at the right time," said Saints interim head coach Kenny Collins. "We have a challenging schedule ahead, but we are playing confidently and coming through in big moments. Our next job is getting prepared for this weekend."
