Behind eight shutout innings from senior starter Tom Bash, Saint Vincent College punched its ticket to the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship Tournament with a 2-0 victory over visiting Bethany at Bearcat Ballfield. Bash improved to 6-1 on the season after working eight scoreless innings and allowing just six hits and no walks while striking out seven. Classmate Matt Evans came on to record the game's final three outs in the top of the ninth inning to record his fifth save of the year and preserve the shutout win. Keeping up his end of the pitcher's duel, Bethany starter Mark Lavezza was equally as impressive as his Saint Vincent counterparts, as he allowed just two runs (one earned) on three hits, with four strikeouts and two walks to take the hard-luck loss.

Keuka College (6-14-1, 6-14-1E8) won the opening game of the Empire Eight Tournament against Elmira College on Tuesday, 15-12. In the top of the second inning the Soaring Eagles would score 9 runs from Keukas miscues in the field extending their lead 10-1. The Green and Gold bounced back with a crooked number in the fourth inning was a huge inning for the Wolves and ended when Josh Tyron hit his second of three triple of the night to right field to clear the bases and score two more runs. The Wolves then took the lead 11-10. Both teams added runs but Keuka held their lead and a date in this weekend E8 Tournament.

Fifth-year senior Anthony Dombrowski tallied his 100th career hit in the third inning and Susquehanna University used a three-run eighth inning to post a come-from-behind 5-4 victory over Drew University on Tuesday afternoon in the play-in game for the 2021 Landmark Conference Baseball Championship. Sixth-seeded Susquehanna (10-15) continues action in the Landmark Championship with today's win and will now face No. 4 seed Moravian College on Thursday. The River Hawks went up two runs with a second consecutive single off of Roumes' bat, driving in Morrow. The Rangers threatened in the ninth when Cole Bosch drew a one-out walk and Bosch was doubled home by Kroll. But Carey retired the final two batters he faced.

Jared Ennis finished the day with four singles.

With the win the Wildcats and Nittany Lions will play the rubber match Wednesday at Noon in Abington. The winner of game three will advance to the North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship series. North Central College made College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin history on Tuesday in a 8-1 win over Elmhurst University, capturing at least a share of its record-setting sixth-consecutive regular season conference title, a feat no team has accomplished since the start of conference play in 1947. The Cardinals (31-6, 25-4 CCIW) have now won 15-straight games over Elmhurst dating back to 2016 and have been crowned regular season champions of the CCIW every season since 2015. Head coach Ed Mathey also ties Carthage College's Augie Schmidt IV for most conference titles among active CCIW coaches with his ninth overall conference championship (1994, 1996, 1998, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021).

As the regular season winds down, the Grinnell College baseball team is hitting its stride. The Pioneers stretched their winning streak to four Tuesday night with a 10-8 victory over Cornell College. Grinnell (10-8, 10-8 Midwest Conference South Division) rapped out 14 hits, with Quinton McNitt enjoying a four-hit performance and Jared Booth adding three RBIs. No. 7 ranked Marietta College swept an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader from Heidelberg University Tuesday evening assuring the Pioneers of a top-two seed and first round bye in the upcoming OAC Tournament. Turner Hill lined a bases-loaded, walk-off line drive to the wall in right field in the bottom of the ninth inning giving the Etta Express a 7-6 come from behind victory in game one. The Pioneers completed the sweep with a 12-2 seven inning mercy rule win in the second game.

Crown College defeated the Carleton Knights 7-6 in a four-hour 12 inning contest on Tuesday evening to end their regular season. The Storm enter the postseason 19-21, playing in a remarkable forty games, the maximum allowed by the NCAA. An warm spring allowed the Storm to begin outdoor games early, allowing them to reach this total. Their win total of 19 is a new NCAA-era school record, despite competing with the most challenging schedule they've ever played. The Storm needed everyone to help them defeat Carleton on a beautiful day in Northfield. In the clutch, this was the Tristan Shoemaker show. The sophomore outfielder recorded hits in the ninth, eleventh, and twelfth innings, and his play directly led to a Storm run on all three occasions. In the ninth, after getting on with a single, he scored himself. Mason Brock hit into a fielder's choice in the eleventh, exchanging himself for Shoemaker after he doubled (and Brock scored the go-ahead run). In the twelfth, Shoemaker hit a single to score Bailey Sarto, the game-winning hit.

Kyle Halverson had a key RBI hit in each game and five Tommie pitchers shut out St. Scholastica over the day's last 13 innings to lead St. Thomas Baseball to Tuesday's 5-2, 2-1 non-conference sweep at Wade Stadium. The Purple (25-5) have won 11 in a row and 21 of their last 23, and lowered their Division III-best ERA to 1.43. St. Thomas pitchers fanned seven and didn't walk a batter while allowing two runs in nine hits over the 14 innings. The Toms have held opponents to two or less runs in 22 of 30 games, including eight shutouts. St. Scholastica (17-7) had a nine-game home win streak halted.

What seemed primed for a doubleheader sweep on the road unfortunately turned into just a split late Tuesday afternoon at Ohio Northern, as the Polar Bears forced the Cardinals into settling for a lone victory. The Cardinals, looking to make a final push for the last spot in the upcoming six-team Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament, beat 5-3 Ohio Northern in extras to launch the day. However, ONU came from behind to steal the rematch, 12-10 with a big seventh inning. The Cards, down to their final at-bat in the ninth of game one, advanced runners to second and third with just one out after Zach Franz put down a sac-bunt. Down to their last chance moments later, Brayden Carter delivered a two-out single that tied the game at 3-3. Pinch runner Andrew Brownley was thrown out at the plate attempting to score the go-ahead run. That deadlocked remained the same until the 11th when Otterbein broke through. Dmitri Collaros singled, and then came all the way around to score on a roped triple down the right-field line from Killian Brewer. Stotler followed with a sinking liner that fell in front of the centerfielder, resulting in a double and allowing Franz to cross. Otterbein stood on top in game two, 10-6, midway through the seventh before things unfortunately went array. ONU strung together a one-out rally, as five-straight hitters reached base and the score quickly became knotted at 10-10. A subsequent two-out hit then thrusted Ohio Northern on top, 12-10.
