Loved Super regionals in 2019? Well they will be back next year but this year we have a reduced field set at at 75% of the usual field. This gives us eight six-team regionals. Each winner of the regional tournaments will advance to the the D-III World Series to be held in Cedar Rapids, Iowa starting on Friday June 4th.

Who's in the tournament? The playoff field consists of 48 teams. Forty (42) Pool A bids will be awarded to conference automatic qualifiers through May 23rd. On May 23, the national selection committee decides who gets the six Pool B/Pool C at-large bids and is scheduled to release the playoff field by the end of Sunday May 23rd. Regional Sites:
The High Point Rockers announced that Truist Point in High Point will be one of eight host sites host site for the NCAA Baseball Regionals set for May 27-31. Greensboro College will serve as the host institution for the regional.
The seven other Regional sites are: Auburn, N.Y. (Wells host), Marietta, Ohio (Marietta host), Decatur, Ill. (Millikin host), Hartford, Conn., Collegeville, Minn. (St. John's host), Saint Paul, Minn. (Northwestern hosts) and Whitewater, Wisc. (UW-Whitewater hosts).
D-III World Series format: The D-III World Series format has two four-team double-elimination pools with the winner of each pool meeting in a best-of-three series. Previously the format was an eight-team double-elimination tournament. The regionals will continue to be a 6 or 8 team double elimination tournament.
