No. 21 Shenandoah University completed its regular season Saturday by sweeping an ODAC doubleheader from Hampden-Sydney. Shenandoah (29-10-1) was an 11-5 winner in the opener before taking 13 innings to dispatch H-SC (20-17) by a 3-2 score in the nightcap.

No. 1 ranked Marietta College secured the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season championship with a doubleheader sweep of No. 12 Baldwin Wallace University Saturday afternoon. The Pioneers have a three-game lead on second place Otterbein University with two conference games left to play. The Pioneers rolled to a 16-2 thrashing in game one and then blanked the Yellow Jackets 2-0 in the second game. Baldwin Wallace entered the day averaging over 11 runs per game but managed just two runs and 10 total hits in the doubleheader. Marietta has now won 20 straight games and improves to 34-3 on the season. The Pioneers are 15-1 in the OAC. Baldwin Wallace falls to 27-8 overall and 11-5 in conference games.

Seventh-ranked Rowan swept #16 Kean, 4-3 and 8-7, to earn the NJAC regular-season crown and the top seed in this week's NJAC Championship. The Profs, winners of their last nine games, are now 30-6 and finish the league slate with a 15-2 mark. Rowan will host sixth-seeded Ramapo on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the first round of the double elimination NJAC Championship. The remainder of the tournament will be held at Kean on Friday through Sunday, May 5-7. Rowan closer Christian Bascunan recorded the saves in both games to give him 10 on the season, to set a new school record. Chris Curcio drove in the game-winning run in the first game and Patrick Defeciani had the game-winning hit in the second-game victory.

The #18 ranked Oswego State took on the #5 Cortland Red Dragons in an entertaining contest. The first game saw Oswego take an early lead and did not look back. Paul Tammaro secured four hits and scored two runs. Ryan Weiss added a grand slam in the contest as the Lakers won 8-7. The second contest saw Oswego lead for most of the game until a ninth inning, where the series sweep was fizzled out by a Red Dragon comeback, taking the third and final regular season meeting between the two powerhouse SUNYAC squads, 10-8. This is the first time that the Lakers have defeated the Red Dragons in a three game series at home in Oswego State Baseball history. The Lakers have not taken a series win from the Red Dragons since May of 2018.

The 11th-ranked Salisbury University Sea Gulls shook off a weeklong layoff to sweep a Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference doubleheader against the Mary Washington Eagles, winning 8-1 and 11-5 on Saturday afternoon at V. Earl Dickinson Stadium. In the opener, UMW managed only three baserunners after the third inning as Jimmy Adkins locked down the Eagles for his second complete game victory of the month. Adkins (4-1) won his fourth straight decision with his fifth career complete game and second this season. Adkins gave up just an unearned run on four hits over nine innings, walking one and hitting one while punching out seven on 110 pitches. Benji Thalheimer (6-0) made his first appearance since April 12 and picked up the win in relief. Thalheimer pitched the final five innings for the Sea Gulls, allowing no runs on just one hit with one walk and two strikeouts. Jackson Balzan pitched four-plus innings in a no-decision, allowing five runs (four earned) on five hits with three walks and two strikeouts. Balzan's final run against scored in the fifth after he had left the game.

Honoring 10 seniors for Senior Day at Eastern Baseball Stadium,Eastern Connecticut State University earned a pair of wins over Roger Williams University on Saturday afternoon, 5-2 and 4-2, to sweep the three-game series versus the Hawks (26-7-1), who have received votes in the D3Baseball.com national poll and are ranked third in the NEIBA poll. Early offense from the second nationally-ranked Warriors (32-3) in game one and a clutch two-out, bases-clearing triple from senior catcher Matt Malcom in the seventh inning of game two highlighted Eastern's statement against a strong starting pitching duo of graduate ace left-hander Justin Garcia and graduate right-hander Chris Flynn who started both games for Roger Williams.

On Senior Day, Bridgewater College split a doubleheader with No. 6 Lynchburg winning game one 6-2 and losing game two 6-12. The combination of Long to Tharp was dominate for Bridgewater on the mound in game one. Long tossed an impressive 6.1 innings against the No. 6 team in the country allowing only two runs on seven hits and had three strike outs. The sophomore tied the program record for wins with 10 this season and leads the conference in wins by two. Tharp finished the Hornets off with 2.2 innings earning his 10th save. Lynchburg took control of this game early after a five run second inning put the game in jeopardy early. The Hornets went up 10-0 before the Eagles were able to get on the board, but the team continued to slowly chip away at the lead but the deficit was too large.

Belhaven clinched their weekend series against the #23 UT Dallas Comets on Saturday, coming from behind late and winning it by a final score 9-7. The game was a high-scoring affair and the runs started early with Belhaven scoring three runs in the top of the1st on Nick Lucido's two-run homer that scored Nathan Herron to give the Blazers the early 2-0 lead. In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Comets took the 6-5 advantage after a solo homer. The Blazers kept fighting back as Matthew Charbonnet roped a RBI single to left field to level the score at 6-6. The Blazers nor Comets scored in the next two frames, but BU had their second three run frame in the ballgame in the top of the eighth inning to bring the score to 9-6.The Comets scored their final run in the bottom of the eighth, but the Blazers went on to take the 9-7 victory over the #23 UT Dallas Comets and win the series 2-1.

Senior center fielder Ben Gbur found his groove with six hits, five RBI, and a home run in both games, and sophomore right-hander Eli Westrick turned in another solid start to help The College of Wooster to a key North Coast Athletic Conference split with front running Denison University. Denison, ranked 25th in this week's Top 25 Poll, took game one from Wooster 6-5, while the Fighting Scots won the nightcap 10-6.

No. 8 Arcadia University set a new program-record for wins with its 34th of the season as it wrapped up the 2022 season with a senior day sweep of DeSales University on Saturday afternoon, taking game one 6-1 before securing game two 8-4. The Knights conclude the regular season 19-2 on league play and 34-6 overall. The Knights put game one away in the bottom of the sixth with five runs on four hits. Hunter Curley earned the win on the mound in game one, scattering six hits in a complete-game effort with one run allowed, walking four and striking out six. The Knights exploded for seven runs in the bottom of the third in game two on six hits and the help of three errors enroute to the sweep.

Trinity's 14th-ranked team clinched the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship with a pair of lopsided wins in a Saturday doubleheader at Austin College. The Tigers won 21-5 and 19-3 in its two most prolific scoring games of the season. The wins also put a bow on the regular season schedule and leaves Trinity with a 29-8 overall record that includes an 19-2 mark in league play. Senior Brian Schaub belted a trio of homers in Saturday's 14 innings to collect a massive nine RBI on the day and climb further up the home run charts in Trinity history. No. 14 Trinity Baseball earned the SCAC's top-seeded berth into the conference championship tournament, held next weekend at The Depot at Cleburne Station in Cleburne, Texas. First pitch for the 2022 league title is slated for Friday, May 6.

Huntingdon defeated LaGrange,8-7, in game 2 of the series. LaGrange took a 1-0 lead in the first inning with an RBI single and added a run in the second with a sacrifice fly. In the bottom of the second, Cullen Stafford's RBI double made it 2-1. Daniel Patton had an RBI single to tie the game at 2. Andrew Knight doubled with the bases loaded to give the Hawks a 5-2 lead. Colin Whibbs' ended the inning with an RBI single, making it 6-2. In the third inning, LaGrange had an RBI double to make it 6-3. Colin Whibbs had an RBI single, extending the Hawks' lead to 7-3. LaGrange added a run in the top of the sixth to make it 7-4. LaGrange added a run in the 7th inning with a solo homerun but the Hawks answered back with an RBI double by Cullen Stafford to make it 8-5. A solo homerun by LaGrange in the 9th inning made it 8-6 and an RBI single made it 8-7. Eddie Patterson earned the win, pitching 7.0 innings and allowing 4 runs on 9 hits with 10 strikeouts. Colin Whibbs was 4-5 with 2 RBI. Andrew Knight was 2-5 with 2 runs and 3 RBI. Noah Phillips was 2-4 with 1 run. Cullen Stafford was 2-4 with 1 run, 2 RBI, and 2 doubles.
