UW-Whitewater added their 24th win (8th straight) on the season with a 16-4 7 inning victory over Carthage. The Warhawks opened up scoring right away in the second inning. The 8-run inning was capped off with an Andy Thies grand slam (his 6th of the season), putting the Warhawks up 8-0. In the fourth inning, Thies batted in another run, giving the Warhawks a 9-0 lead. Thies finished with a career-high five RBIs in the game.

St. Joseph's University (L.I.) added to their record-breaking win streak, now at 17, with a 22-10 non-conference win at William Paterson University on Tuesday afternoon. A seven-run top of the second got the scoring going for the Golden Eagles. St. Joseph's batted around again in the top of the third to go ahead 13-1 and the rout was on. SJLI starter freshman Riley Morris earned his third win of the season allowing just three runs on five hits with three strikeouts in five innings. William Paterson's Nick Durso took the loss allowing seven runs on seven hits in 1.2 innings.

A three-run bottom of the 10th inning, including a game-winning sac fly from Spencer Merrick led WPI to an 11-10 victory over Emerson in NEWMAC action at the New England Baseball Complex. The win lifts the Engineers to 16-11 overall, 4-4 in conference play, while the Lions move to 5-19, 2-9 in the NEWMAC. WPI trailed 7-1 in the fifth and rallied to tie with a five-run seventh inning. However, Emerson scored in the top of the eighth, forcing another rally from the Engineers, this time culminating in a Tommy Burns RBI single that tied the game at 8-8. The Lions fired back with two in the top of the 10th inning to go up 10-9, but WPI scored three in the bottom of the frame to walk off the game with Merrick's fly ball. Burns led the Engineers with four RBI on two hits with two runs scored, including his fourth home run of the year. Jonathan Lattimer and Jake DelMonte each homered and drove in two, with Lattimer finishing with three hits. Hand knocked his team-leading 11th dinger of the season, while Zachary Roethlein had two hits and an RBI.

No. 3 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University earned its third straight Ohio Athletic Conference sweep in today's doubleheader against Heidelberg University by scores of 13-1 and 4-3 at Pleasant Valley. BW (26-4, 11-1 OAC) knew it had to get the bats going early in today's matchup between two of the top teams in the OAC and that is exactly what the Yellow Jackets did in Game 1 as they exploded for 13 runs including eight in the first two innings. Game 2 was a different story as Heidelberg (18-11, 6-6) held the Brown and Gold to five hits and forced BW to hold on to a one-run lead through the final innings. Senior right-hander Aidan Bennett was nearly unstoppable in the opener as he struck out six batters through six innings and allowed only one run on two hits and three walks to earn his third win of the season. Senior right-hander Matt Sabin threw three scoreless innings of relief to close the game where he allowed only three hits and one walk. In game two, sophomore left-hander Carson Collins got the starting nod and the win as he went 5.1 innings allowing two runs on four hits. Freshman right-hander Jake Heatherington picked up another save after pitching the last 3.2 innings and allowing only one run on two hits with two strikeouts.

Marymount won their ninth straight on Tuesday evening, taking down the Blazers of Hood College by a final tally of 11-4. Jonathan McMath got the scoring rolling for the Saints, punching an RBI single in the bottom of the first to score Bobby Leitzel. Alec Reilly followed it up with an RBI single up the middle to push the score to 2-0 and built that to a 5-0 cushion. The Blazers plated a single run in both the third and fourth innings, but starter Ryan Mariani managed the damage to keep the Saints on top. Marymount put together a six-run bottom of the seventh to take a commanding lead, highlighted by a two-run single from Leitzel.

Lebanon Valley College received contributions from several members of its lineup, as seven players recorded RBIs during the club's 17-14 victory over Messiah University on Tuesday at Starry Baseball Field. Jace Fetterman, Owen Berry, and Justin Ranker led the way by knocking in three runs each. Jase Fetterman's two-run homer in the sixth marked the junior's 100th career hit. The catcher's fourth blast of the spring was one of his two hits in the contest. Fetterman also tallied three RBIs. Logan Brewer hit his sixth homer of the season while recording career-highs with four runs scored and two doubles. The junior's four runs are tied for the most by an LVC player this year. Brewer also tied a season-high three hits. Owen Berry had a career-high three runs scored and tied career-highs with three hits and three RBIs. The junior hit a double and stole two bases during the win as well. Berry also picked up his first career save on the mound, striking out a batter in 1.1 innings of work.

Allegheny College extended its win streak to seven consecutive games with a doubleheader sweep of Geneva College on a sun-filled Tuesday at Robert M. Garbark Field at the Robertson Athletic Complex. Allegheny (19-7, 10-2 PAC) opened the twin bill with a 6-2 victory over the Golden Tornadoes (11-15, 3-9 PAC). The Gators then needed late-inning magic to help secure a thrilling 9-8 triumph in the nightcap to complete the sweep. The first half of Tuesday's doubleheader featured a little bit of everything: solid pitching, big hits, and a clean game by the Allegheny defense. The nightcap was a back-and-forth contest. At times, both sides looked as though they might run away with the win. Ultimately, Allegheny loaded the bases and walked off in the bottom of the ninth. With bases loaded Andrew Stablewski provided the heroics. He made loud contact and drove the ball deep enough to right field to score the winning run with his second sac fly of the evening.

Jordan Burrough and Chase Wade each connected on a home run while the backend of the bullpen, including Wade, locked it down for Guilford College who finalized nonconference play with a 10-7 victory over Methodist University at Armstrong-Shelley Field on Tuesday night. Both teams entered with identical 15-18 records, but it was the Quakers who came away with their seventh win in their last nine games to finish the 8-10 outside of league play and 16-18 overall. It was also the nonconference finale for the Monarchs who finish 8-11 in such contests 15-19 overall.

LeTourneau got back on the winning side with a game two victory on Tuesday night as the YellowJackets split a midweek doubleheader at Centenary. LeTourneau (13-20) took the nightcap, 5-4, after dropping the opener by a 13-4 final. Blake Vice and Xander Nabors both homered and the bullpen worked out of late jams to hold on for a 5-4 victory in Tuesday's finale. Centenary struck first and pulled away late for a 13-4 win in Tuesday's first game.

First-years Tyler Wilke and Garret Wolf, along with graduate student Michael Reyes, each picked up three RBI, as te Stevens Institute of Technology beat Mount Saint Vincent 15-8 Tuesday. First-year David Finch (2-1) earned the win in relief. He pitched two and a third innings and did not allow a hit. He struck out three batters. Sophomore Jonah Swarts started the game for the Ducks. He pitched two and two-thirds innings and gave up one run on three hits. The run was unearned. Stevens used eight pitchers in the game. With the win, Stevens improved to 19-10 and the team is now on a three-game winning streak. The Ducks also ended a two-game losing streak in non-conference play. In home games this year, Stevens improved to an impressive 9-2. The Ducks improved to 3-0 all-time against Mount Saint Vincent. The Dolphins came into the game on a three-game winning streak, but the team fell to 10-14 with the loss.

Kean University improved to 20-11 with a 10-1 non-conference win over host Widener University on Tuesday. The Cougars raced out to a 4-0 lead after three innings a Justin Teixeira connected on an RBI single in the first, Christian Pellone registered a two RBI double in the second and JT Abrusci collected an RBI single in the third. Kean added insurance in the sixth with an RBI single from CJ Tomalavage and two more in the seventh as Dan Reistle lofted a sac fly and Trevor Coltenback recorded an RBI groundout. The Cougars rounded out their scoring in the eighth as Phil Marcantonio lined an RBI double and Tyler Stone picked up a sac fly RBI. Widener erased the shutout with two outs in the ninth. Rookie Connor Ramsey improved to 2-0 after tossing eight shutout innings. He walked one and fanned five.

Junior outfielder Sammy Stoner scored the go-ahead run during a 2-run seventh inning that broke a 5-5 tie and lifted Ohio Wesleyan to a win over Wooster in the opener of a North Coast Athletic Conference doubleheader on Tuesday at Littick Field. In the nightcap, Stoner had an RBI single and scored the go-ahead run during a 6-run third inning that gave Ohio Wesleyan a 9-8 lead, and the Bishops went on to complete the sweep. It was Ohio Wesleyan's first doubleheader sweep of Wooster since May 4, 2008, when the Bishops swept the Fighting Scots by scores of 6-3 and 14-6 to win an NCAC tournament semifinal series, and Ohio Wesleyan's first doubleheader sweep of Wooster at Littick Field since April 26, 1996, when the Bishops won by scores of 2-0 and 2-1.

On base machine Josh Reinhold reached in all six of his plate appearances and slugger Lincoln Lubsen connected on his second grand slam of the season to highlight a dominant offensive performance on Tuesday afternoon as 13th-ranked Christopher Newport rolled to an 18-3 win on the road over Eastern Mennonite University. The Captains improved to 21-7 overall this season after the bats exploded for their third double-digit scoring output in the last four games. CNU connected on 15 hits including six multi-hit showings by the Captains lineup against the Royals, who fall to 10-19 this season. Hitting in the two hole on Tuesday, Reinhold wasted no time adding to his record-breaking on-base streak with a double down the line in the top of the first inning. With the first of his two hits, the sophomore shortstop has now reached in 70 consecutive games to take over sole possession of the fourth longest on-base streak in Division III history. Reinhold would go on to reach in all six of his plate appearances on Tuesday with two hits and four walks, setting a new personal record for reaching base in a single game.

The bats for MSOE stayed hot from the weekend as the Raiders picked up another conference Tuesday, defeating Edgewood College with double-digit runs in both contests, 14-3 and 13-8. In the opener, the two sides traded runs in the second innings when Kyle Labedz grounded into a double-play to bring in Micah Overley. MSOE (17-8, 11-3 NACC) asserted themselves ahead in the bottom of the third when Brandon Beauchamp and Chris Barnes each drove in runs for a 4-1 lead but that was just the beginning of what was set to take place. The Raiders batted around quite a bit in the bottom of the fifth, highlighted by Beauchamp clearing the bases midway through to put a 10-piece on the scoreboard to make the game 13-1. Edgewood (14-13, 8-6 NACC) drove in two more runs in the top of sixth, but that was the only damage AJ Hamilton allowed on mound as they cruised to an easy victory in game one. The Eagles went with a different approach in game two, blowing by the Raiders with a 8-1 lead. Barnes broke up the scoring in the bottom of the second blasting a homerun, showing the Eagles the Raiders weren't going to go away easily. The Raiders put up nine runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, eventually tying things up at eight before Overley ripped one into right center to bring Sam Meidenbauer and Blake Hall in to score to take a 10-8 lead. Three more insurance runs in the top of the fifth helped the Raiders finish off the Eagles after the weather forced the game to be stopped early.

Four Wentworth Institute of Technology pitcher recorded two hits apiece, including sophomore Matthew Favazzo who also drove in three runs, while freshmen Nigel Cross and Brandon Farinas recorded the win and the save, respectively, as the Leopards topped No. 23 Roger Williams 6-4 in Commonwealth Coast Conference action Tuesday night. Wentworth scored three times in the bottom of the first, taking a lead the Leopards would not relinquish. After Wentworth stranded a runner at third in the bottom of the eighth inning, Farinas gave up a leadoff single in the ninth, however, got a strikeout and a double play to seal the win. Cross improves to 4-0 as he allowed two runs on five hits and struck out six in five innings. Junior Matt Ferrara pitched 1.2 innings, allowing one run on two hits. Putney allowed one run on two hits in an inning of work, while Farinas notched his third save of the season, allowing one hit and striking out one in 1.1 innings of work. In addition to Favazzo's two hits, Peruzzi, DiPina, and Leary each had a pair of hits. Peruzzi also drew a pair of walks. It was the 73rd all-time meeting between the two teams.

Graduate student Luke Tanner hit a walk-off double with one out in the bottom of the ninth to help Babson College rally for a 5-4 win over visiting Lasell University in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon at Govoni Field. Babson, which has won 12 of its last 14 games, improves to 15-8 on the year. Lasell has dropped three of its last four games to dip to 19-11 overall. Tanner went 3-for-5, senior Jack Julian was 2-for-3 and graduate student John Nowak and senior Brant Savage both doubled in the win for the Beavers. First-year Dante D'Avanzo also singled and drove in a run, while sophomore Zander Teator improved to 3-1 on the year with the win in relief.

Adrian College completed the sweep over Trine University on Tuesday afternoon on the road. The Bulldogs picked up a third and final victory of the season over the Thunder with a monstrous 21-4 win. Adrian moves to 17-10 on the season and sit 8-3 in conference play to hold a second place spot in the MIAA standings. Nic Bruder led the team with three hits on the afternoon while Joe Casale, Edward Wagner, and Easton Rogers each collected two. Luc St. Antoine got the start on the mound for the Bulldogs where he threw three innings allowing no earned runs on four hits with three strikeouts. Robert Leonard got the win in relief throwing a pair of innings allowing two hits.

Tuesday's 7-3 victory at (RV) Randolph-Macon for Mary Washington (23-8) was nothing short of a total team effort as the Eagles recorded 12 total hits and allowed just two earned runs en route to the win. Gavin Riley received the start for the Eagles -- and as usual -- did not disappoint as he tossed five innings of one-run ball for the Eagles, while striking out three and giving the Eagles a good enough start to come out as winners on Tuesday.

Arcadia University ran its win streak to five with a 15-4 non-conference victory at Gwynedd Mercy University on Tuesday afternoon. Arcadia opened the scoring in the top of the first with two runs on RBI's from Matthew Sot and Tommy Ajjan. After Gwynedd Mercy cut the lead in half, Kevin Wheeler gave the Knights a 4-1 lead in the top of the second with a two-run single that scored Emilio Pallante and Eli Savitt. Arcadia broke the game open in the fourth with six runs as Anthiny Bruno, Justin Massielo, Ajjan, Solomon Griffith, Gabe Diaz, and Wheeler all brought runs in. The Knights added a run in the fifth on a Jet Cajigas singe and three runs in the seventh from Nick Bon Tempo and Emilio Pallante to finish the scoring. Jack Dovidio earned the win in relief.

No 14 Benedictine University totaled 21 runs in a doubleheader sweep, 10-2 and 11-0, over Wisconsin Lutheran at home on Tuesday. Benedictine grabbed the lead in the first inning and did not look back to win the opener, using a new-look lineup to get things rolling. Kevin Bushnell lifted a sacrifice fly to open the scoring and added an RBI single as part of a four-run third which broke the game open. Austin Pizer made his first start, tossing five shutout innings to earn the win. The Benedictine bats recorded 13 hits. Ryan Doubek and Brennan Fisher each produced three with George Betevis and Anthony Lenza logging two apiece. Bushnell drove home three. Benedictine swiped five bases in the victory, helping set the tone. Logan Gregorio rocketed a two-run double in the first inning and Benedictine went on to score in five different innings to record the sweep. Benedictine took advantage of two errors, five walks and five wild pitches to pull away. The offense scored 11 times on just nine hits. Gregorio and Fisher both knocked home three. Doubek, Bushnell and Gregorio all tallied a pair of hits. Conner Kendall struck out eight in six blank innings to pick up his fourth win of the year.

Catholic scored four first-inning runs and led wire-to-wire as they became the first Landmark Conference team to 11 conference wins in 2024. The Cardinals improved to 21-8 on the season, leaving Ross Natoli just six wins shy of 800 for his career. While the four first-inning runs would have been enough for the Cardinals, they added five more runs in a 9-2 victory over the Blue Jays in the second of a three-game series. With the victory, Catholic wrestles the top spot in the Landmark away from the Blue Jays. Freshman Sam Fairhurst earned his second career victory on the bump as he completed a career-high 7.0 innings, allowing three hits and one run. In Fairhurst's last four outings spanning 17.0 innings, his ERA has dropped from 3.75 to 1.86 while he has earned two wins and a save.

Senior Brennan Hyde tied the program record for career home runs as Nichols College scored 13 runs in a win over the University of Hartford, on Tuesday afternoon from Nichols Baseball Field. Nichols won 13-3 in eight innings over the Hawks. Nichols earned their third straight win by way of the 10-run rule. Hyde tied the program record for home runs with his 21st career blast for the Bison outfielder. Hyde launched his fifth home run of the season in the second inning. Hyde finished the game with a line of 3-5 with five RBI and two runs scored. Four other Nichols batters each had two hits as well for Nichols.

No. 1 nationally ranked Endicott defeated Suffolk, 12-0 (seven innings), in Commonwealth Coast Conference action on Tuesday afternoon from East Boston Memorial Park. The Gulls offense exploded for six runs in a first inning hit parade and didn't look back. Nick Cannata put up another strong start for the Blue and Green, as he allowed no more than three baserunners for the second consecutive start, once again earning the win. Brady Stuart relieved Cannata in the sixth and tossed a scoreless sixth and seventh frame (five strikeouts) to lock up Endicott's 12-0 victory.

Johns Hopkins concluded its three-game road trip with a Centennial Conference matchup against McDaniel Tuesday afternoon, racking up 13 hits en route to a 12-3 win over the Green Terror. Bearden Awadzi moves to a perfect 4-0 on the season after allowing two runs — one earned — on five hits in five innings of work. The sophomore's 2.87 ERA ranks second among eligible pitchers. Jacob Harris had a career day at the plate in the win, going 3-4 with a single, double and triple. The sophomore's three hits are a high-water mark, and he is now slashing .429/.600/.821 for the year. Jimmy Stevens (3-5) and Dillion Souvignier (2-4) also registered multi-hit days at the plate. Stevens' four RBIs tie the senior's career high, while Souvignier's run moves him into a share of the team lead at 28.

Ferrum College avenged an earlier season loss and picked up a 10-5 win against Southern Virginia University this afternoon in non-conference play on the road. Mason Moffett's RBI single to right field scored Shawn Baxter for the first run of the game in the first inning. Kyle Markowitz added a second run on a single to second base, scoring one run to put the Panthers up 2-0 through two innings. Southern Virginia tied the game up in the third on an RBI single and sac fly to right field. In the fourth, Baxter's sac flyball to right field and Moffett's RBI single down the left field line put Ferrum back up 4-2. Matt Wright hit a solo homerun to left field in the fifth and Clayton Michael's RBI groundout extended the lead to 6-2. The Knights got one run back on a solo homerun to right center if the bottom half of the sixth. Southern Virginia added a run in the seventh and eighth inning to get within two, 7-5 after eight innings of play. A three-run ninth inning provided insurance runs, when Gus Chaffin walked with the bases loaded and Baxter hit a two RBI single through the left side.

Waynesburg University had a furious comeback effort thwarted late but bounced back with the Jackets' highest-scoring effort of the season in a Presidents' Athletic Conference doubleheader split at Thiel on Tuesday. Trailing 8-1 after six innings in game one, Waynesburg tied the game at eight in the seventh and took a 9-8 lead in the eighth. The Tomcats scored a pair of unearned runs, including the go-ahead run on an obstruction call, in the bottom of the eighth to take a 10-9 victory. The Jackets bounced back with a 18-1 run-rule victory in game two to earn the conference split. The Jackets move to 18-13 on the year and 11-4 in PAC. Thiel moves to 10-15, 7-5 PAC.

Leftfielder Brenden Collins and Hope College crushed it. Collins blasted a three-run homer in his hometown that launched the MIAA-leading Flying Dutchmen to a 14-0, seven-inning victory at second-place Kalamazoo College and a series victory on Tuesday. The sophomore from Kalamazoo, Michigan sparked a five-run first inning. Hope defeated the defending MIAA regular-season champion Hornets at their Woodsworth Field for the second time in six days. Kalamazoo could have pulled even in the MIAA standings and earned a tiebreaker advantage for the league tournament with a victory. Instead, the Flying Dutchmen (16-12, 10-2 MIAA) opened a 1 ½-game lead over second-place Adrian College, which is 8-3 in league play after beating Trine University, 21-4, on Tuesday. Alma College sits in third place with a 7-3 league record. Kalamazoo is fourth with an 8-4 mark. Hope batted around during its first at-bat against Kalamazoo.

Senior lefty Jason Carpenter struck out a career-high five over a career-long 3 2/3 IP and The University of Scranton (19-7, 10-5 Landmark) held on for a 5-4 win over the Wilkes Colonels (19-8, 10-6 Landmark) on Tuesday at Volpe Field in Scranton. Carpenter came on in relief of senior righty Thomas Plunkett to protect a 5-4 lead with one out in the sixth and retired all 11 batters that he faced to earn the save. The five strikeouts surpassed his previous career-high of four that had been set on two occasions. Plunkett recorded his third victory of the season after allowing four runs on seven hits while fanning five in 5 1/3 IP. Wilkes was able to battle back with four in the sixth inning to trim the deficit to a run at 5-4 after a three-run homer off the bat of Chase Vrabel but Carpenter was able to nail down the win.

Hobart won both games of a doubleheader against Keuka today at McDonough Park. The Statesmen cruised to an 8-2 victory in Game 1 and rallied from a four-run deficit to take the nightcap 7-6 in nine innings. In the sunshine of the opener, Hobart pounded out 12 hits, including two each for junior Nate Johnson, senior Ty Gallagher, sophomore Nate Garrett and sophomore Richard Tremble. In his first start, Tremble was the only Statesman with more than one RBI. He also had one of four stolen bases by Hobart. On the mound, seven Statesmen pitched one inning apiece, limiting the Wolves to just three hits while ringing up 11 strike outs. Hobart's staff didn't allow a hit after the second inning. If Game 1 went exactly according to plan for the Statesmen, Game 2 was a grind. Hobart trailed 6-2 going into the seventh, but rallied to tie the game and force extra innings. In the bottom of the ninth, sophomore Drew Bolduc came up with the bases loaded and one out and delivered a walk-off single to center. First-year Jack Byrnes pitched three scoreless innings, striking out five and allowing just one hit to earn the win.

The University of Rochester scored runs in four straight innings, from the second through fifth, leading the Yellowjackets to a 7-3 victory over host SUNY Brockport on Tuesday afternoon at the Clark Whited Complex. The win moves UR's record to over .500 in 2024, sitting at 13-12 overall. Brockport falls to 15-10 with the loss. At the plate both Jackson Reed and Luke Gregory finished with two hits. Alexander Gonzalo was 1-for-3 with 2 runs, 2 walks and 2 RBI, while Josh Leadem also scored twice, despite not recording a hit.

Senior Luke Sokolski homered and doubled, and freshman Josh Worthington had three hits, including a three-run homer, as Plymouth State University slugged past the University of Massachusetts Boston, 13-9, in a Little East Conference game at Robbie Mills Field on Tuesday night. UMass Boston used a three-run shot in the top of the first to grab an early lead, but Plymouth State answered right back with a seven-run bottom of the inning. Sokolski started the scoring with an RBI double and Worthington provided the big blow, a three-run blast over the high fence in left field, to put the Panthers ahead 7-3. UMass Boston tried to chip away, cutting the deficit to two runs on three separate occasions, but each time Plymouth State would answer right back. PSU hit three solo dingers in the fourth, including back-to-back shots from juniors Danny Quinn and Sam Malgeri, and senior Eoin Hamell-Kelleher picked up a five-out save as PSU held on for the key conference win. Plymouth State wins its fourth straight game to improve to 7-9 (3-3 LEC), while the Beacons dip to 18-9 (8-2 LEC). PSU’s four home runs were the most in a game since going deep four times at UMass Dartmouth two years ago. Sophomore Tyler Hicks worked the first 4.2 innings. Freshman Elias Bourque picked up the win to go to 2-0 while Hamell-Kelleher recorded the final five outs to earn his first save of the year, striking out three in the process.
