Scouting report
- Led by 17th-year head coach Matt Noone, Babson is in the NCAA Tournament for the third year in a row and fifth time overall. Babson reached the championship round of the 2017 Harwich Regional and came within a game of reaching the College World Series last year before suffering a pair of losses to Misericordia at the York (Pa.) Regional.
- The Beavers have set a new school record for wins for the third consecutive season, and are just the second team in NEWMAC history, Wheaton (Mass.) was the first, to reached the College World Series.
- Babson won 16 consecutive games after opening up the season 1-2.
