  • Before the NCAA playoffs, Birmingham-Southern was on an 11-game winning streak, and the Panthers have now won 16 of their last 18 games. This season, BSC is 10-6 against ranked opponents.
  • Since becoming eligible for the NCAA playoffs the Panthers earned a playoff bid in six of nine years. This is their first ever appearance in the D-III World Series.
  • Eleven Birmingham-Southern players were selected to 2019 All-Southern Athletic Association Teams.The Panther selections were highlighted by senior reliever Richie Misischia, who garnered Pitcher of the Year. He was joined by four other players on the SAA First Team. The 11 selections is the most ever for the Panther's baseball team.
