Gottesman is the eighth student-athlete in program history to receive Pitcher of the Year honors. He led the CCC in strikepouts and place in the top 20 in the nation. His strikeout totals rank second all-time in program single-season history. He set the standars for wins in a season in 2024.

MacDougall earned first team honors when the All-CCC teams were announced. He led the team in stolen bases with 47.

Hale earned CCC Rookie of the Year honors In his collegiate debut against Salem State on March 3, the freshman tossed 4.1 innings of relief and earned the win with four strikeouts and no runs allowed. From then on, he ingrained himself as an important piece of the Gulls' pitching staff, and a reliable arm throughout the season.

Scouting report

  • Endicott is making their second consecutive trip to the D-III World Series. Their other appearance was last season in which the Gulls went 0-2.
  • No. 1 teams have not fared well with just two top ranked teams entering the NCAA playoffs (Cortland in 2015 and Eastern Connecticut State in 2022) winning the D-III World Series in the past 10 years.
  • Head coach Bryan Haley, in his 17th year, has been named coach of the year in the CCC six times and in three staright years between 2022-24 and has a 475-240 (.664) overall record for the Gulls.
  • Endicott claimed 18 total CCC awards in 2024. The Gulls earned five of the seven major awards in the conference. In total, 13 student-athletes were spread across the first and second teams, while 15 received awards altogether.
  • Endicott is the weekend's best pitching staff, with a field best ERA, WHIP and K/BB. Keeping their opponents to 2.77 earned runs a game, they strikeout batters three times as much as they allow a walk. They also swing a hot bat with a top OBP and a secong best runs/game.
